Liked the shoe fit and look, but noticed after about 6 months the bottom of the shoe was poorly glued together and started to come apart. Contacted customer service and they told me I could ship it back at my own expense, but would also need the oringal box which was long gone. Why you need an original box for old shoe is beyond me...but reason I wont buy Hoka any more.

Not good for any runners who need cushioning. The Solimar has dramatically less cushioning than previous Hoka's I've purchased. Painful!

These are not as cushioned as my other Hokas and I thought it would be fine since I don't run, I use it for everyday walking. But after a day, my feet hurt. I ordered a wide and it's narrower than my other pair as well. The fabric is thinner so my bunion sticks out a lot on it. Still comfortable, but I wouldn't use if if I'm walking a long distance.

These shoes were purchased for high intensity workouts to include rope skipping and some CrossFit. The shoes are super narrow and don't absorb any impact from rope skipping or even running in place. Definitely feel disappointed considering the website helped me pick out the shoe

This shoe width is not in matching with Bondi 8. I ordered this shoe in a EE and could not get my foot comfortable.

I love Hoka, I have a bunch of different pairs. But this turned out to be my least favorite. This shoe is narrow, even in a wide, it's still a lot narrower than the Hupana. It does not breathe well either, my feet tend to be more sweaty at the end of the day wearing these compared to Hupana. I wish they would just bring it back instead of the Solimar. Overall, the shoe is light and cushioned enough for daily use. I use it for walking all day at work. Better suited for people with narrow feet.

I really liked the look of this shoe online and when they arrived in my home. I have always loved HOKAS, but not this pair. I wore them out for three hours to casually wander a park at an event. My feet hurt, arched hurt, toes hurt. I'm so glad it is easy to return and replace with a different style. Still love HOKAS.

Shoe did not fit. Toe box was way too narrow and shoe was too short. Purchased my 'normal' size which is always a 12D (medium). Always wear this size in Adidas, NB, Nike ,ASICS, etc. Seems like a common theme anymore from different manufacturers making the shoe more pointy and resulting narrow toe box area. May try a different model later which would give me more room.

Thought they were comfortable. Then wore them for a whole day at work and my feet were killing me by the end of the day.

Writing this review exactly 2 weeks after I received these. Shoes look good and are comfortable but not very durable. I've done a couple of orange theory classes and played light pickleball for about 2 hours. The soles are already falling apart. Creases on the side, cuts in the foam, and the foam is literally disintegrating on the very bottom.. will not be buying again.

Bought these for my husband but he said that they are not as comfortable nor have enough cushion. By the end of the day, his feet "feel raw". I was hoping that they would provide more support

These shoes are not a good option for daily walking or running, nor are they very good for wearing. I wore these once while on a 1 hour walk and they were uncomfortable making my feet and legs both very tired. I will go back to the Mach 4 shoes for walking and just use these for daily wear. Even when I use them for daily wear, my feet and legs get very tired and my feet burn. The Mach 4 that I have are much better.

I tried using this shoe at the gym for a HIIT workout. They were so uncomfortable I had to stop and go to the pool. The shoe is very firm, as advertised, but the bases are very uneven, hard to stand, and are not cut the same way similar HOKA's are. They look really nice but for me they would only be useful sitting around in.

BAD:
Shoe is extremely narrow, to the point that my pinkie & 4th toe were hangin OFF the sole of the shoe.
Fit was so bad, that I even checked to see if they accidentally sent me women's shoes.
I have average feet and have never experienced this, so was very surprised.
MEH: For walking shoes, it still has a lot of action (makes you feel like leaning forward)
GOOD: The one good is that the shoes are extremely light and if they fit better, I probably would not have minded them, but as of now, I'll be returning. Disappointed!

These shoes are some of the most comfortably fitting shoes I've ever worn, however, they are also one of the least durable I've ever owned, and that includes walmart sneakers during dark times. I got these as shoes to take to work (I work in a mail sorting building), and after 3 days of normal everyday use they got a hole in the side where my pinkie toe goes. Now given the already high price tag of these shoes, I of course kept wearing them because buying yet another pair of shoes was not in my financial fate.
