I was excited to try these and enjoyed wearing them for a bit. Overall, the comfort and fit is good. However, I made the mistake of buying white assuming that a quick wash would keep them relatively clean. For some reason, this fabric loves to trap crud and they never came close to clean. Oh well, my fault for going with white. However, when the soles started breaking down after a couple months of wear, that sealed it for me. Perhaps the higher tiers of Hokas hold up better, but skip these.

The product did not last more than 2 months. For the money I felt like it was not worth what I paid

The show was different from other Hoka's I wear. It fills narrow than a medium width.

I'm hoping these break in and widen ust a tad. I was hoping to return them for a wider size but this shoe only comes in Black for wide width. That's unfortunate.

Could not wear these shoes for more than a hour before they were too uncomfortable. The only thing that was good about these shoes was that they were very lightweight. They were very tight and narrow. I would recommend getting a wider width. I had to one size larger and still they were very narrow.

i have other pairs of Hoka, and the size on this shoe is totally off. Fits much smaller, possible factory error?

I have been a Hoka fan for years and have owned several pairs in various styles. My size has always been 9.5 no matter the style. However I just purchased (and immediately returned) the Solimar shoes because they were way too narrow and much shorter. I have a pair of Mach 6 on the way and I am sure they will be fine.

All my other pairs of HOKA shoes are regular width. and fit fine. This pair is to narrow. I have only worn them once because they hurt my feet.

This is the 5th or 6th pair of Hokas I've owned. I believe the quality has gone down. After exchanging for a wide pair because the standard width was extremely narrow, I received the wide version, but the heel on one side is deeper than the other. The right show is noticeably and measurably more shallow. Not going to bother with another return, but likely will switch to another brand with more consistent quality.

This show is comfortable but squeaks in the midsole of n every step. It's pretty annoying to walk through the house or office and everyone hears your shoes squeak.

My Hoka Solimar were the most comfortable shoes I have owned, but also the shortest lived shoes I have ever owned. In my research of wanting better walking, training, and active shoes I came across these. I had friends' who had recommended the brand and wore them daily, most of which who were runners, but I was still hesitant because I had never spent more than $70 on a pair of shoes before. Ultimately I gave them a try, and they were delivered to me in August last year. I did not wear them daily, only for those moments of activity, typically on the weekends, in which I probably wore them less than 100 times total. Now, as of March of this year, my left shoe has blow out on the side of the shoe near the top of the ball of my foot; and the right shoe is starting to have a blow out where my big toe is. I'm disappointed in the longevity for the price I paid, and was really hoping for a year or more. It was fun & comfortable, but I have no plans of purchasing again if this is how I should expect their shoes to hold up.

I've had my pair for about a year and the issues I thought would go away after they were broken in are still here. My main two issues are the insole and the toe box: the insoles themselves do not stay in place and I have to readjust them before every use now, they also are slippery against every type of sock fabric I've worn. The toe box doesn't feel secure and coupled with the insole leaves my toes feeling like they are floating in space. Silver lining is the sole is nice and cushy. The shoe runs small so I went up a half size.

they are very light weight but there is no padding for the bottom of my feet so it is not comfortable

I was in search of a good gym shoe to use in my HIIT classes (treadmill and lift). I had great experience with other styles. This one was promising, based on description. I'm 6'5"/220lbs/Size 14 and need a shoe that can hold up. The shoe did not deliver - was not true to size on smaller end. The shoe could not hold up with natural foot swell on the treadmill run; on only lift days, the same issue. I compared to my happily worn Mach 6 and difference was night and day.

ordered for my husband he is a true size the toe box on these shoes is a full 1/2 size smaller than any other running shoes he has ever worn, would not order this style again. Maybe another style, we are a 6 person houka family and this is the first pair that is not your typical running shoe size.

So I am a 10 1/2 B width, it's not that hard. So the on line guide Said go with the size 10. Based on the questionnaire the width in that size will work.
Well the width is nice but their toe crushers. Yep I'm still a 10 1/2 B. I'll eventually wear a hole through the tip where the big toe is.
Then toss em!
I wouldn't recommend these to any one, go to a store if they fit buy em. If not put em back. online shoe sales blows again!

This is a very nice-looking shoe, but this is my second time ordering and exchanging the size, and it is STILL too short. The sizing/length is WAY off, and sadly I am not willing to try a third time and go a full size larger (and this is in the men's shoe!). Please check the length and sizing of the shoe. If this was accurate, it would have been perfect/a keeper. The olive color is very pretty.

Every step i take, the sole inserts move back and my feet fit the shoe size too. Comfy at first but awful to deal with.
