Great fitting shoes that I use on a tread mill daily. Michigan weather doesn't lend itself to being outdoors this time of year. Shoes are true to size also. Just wished they had EE width hiking shoes

After many different brands of walking/running shoes, these are the best. My feet never hurt being in them all day. Will be getting more of them.

I wear them for work, on my feet on concrete quite a bit. Very comfortable shoes. Helps woth my plantar fasciitis as well.

Pros: comfortable, solidly made, look good (glad they make a pair without the huge HOKA logo) Cons: nothing major. My wife works on her feet and swears by these shoes, as does my mom who walks for miles everyday. My feet always hurt if I walk for an extended period of time (hours+), and no these shoes did not radically change that for me. Maybe a little better than normal?

Felt great on mah feet

I used to think I had bad ankles, bad hips, etc. Running on the treadmill became something I dreaded, which was sad since I love a good run. With these shoes, its like my legs are 10 years younger and my knees are made of space-age titanium-reinforced robotics. I can't believe it took me so long to get a pair of Hokas!

Perfect fit. Great metatarsal support. My personal orthotics fit nicely.

I have been using minimalist shoes recently for workouts/training. I injured my foot and felt like I needed a more cushioned shoe that I could use for injury recovery and workouts. I had heard about HOKA, my friends really love the brand, so I decided to do some research. I discovered the Solimar using the HOKA shoe finder. I wanted something that is more lightly cushioned than most of the HOKA lineup. The Solimars are perfect for me -- great cushioning and support, and some side-to-side movement stability. I have two pairs now so I can rotate between them from workout to workout. I did notice I needed a short break-in period. I went a 1/2 size up when purchasing.

The black version of the Solimar model is minimal in style and can be dressed up or down making one pair of shoes travel possible.

The corner bottom sole near the front of the shoe has come unglued.

As a big guy who needs stable shoes to workout in, these are my very favorite. Not to much cushion and terrific stability.

I have a larger foot but fit in almost all other size 14 shoes, athletic and other types. This size 14 is more like a 13.5 or 13.

I had a Hoka Shoe before and it was great, this time around, I bought a new shoe and it only lasted 3 weeks before the bottom started falling apart. Super disappointing

I wear these for OT Fitness workouts. I selected these because they offered the cushiest soles. Unfortunately, when i do one leg balancing for one leg bicep curls my planted leg isn't as stable as I would like and the wobbling with each rep makes balancing difficult. Next time out I will select a model built more for stability vs max cushioning.

If you're looking for a lower profile, lighter weight Hoka model with the same quality and benefits of your other Hokas, Solimar is the shoe for you. I moved to this model for long urban (mainly sidewalk and bike path) hikes where I felt like I needed less cushion. Really love the feel and overall comfort!
