Just purchased Solimars. Very comfortable. Mesh uppers more flexible than Hupana so foot formation is more visible as a result. Less desirable to see that.

Use these for work in the hospital. Great for 10+ hour shifts. All day comfort.

My boyfriend loved them! He says they're extremely comfortable and fit true to size.

comfy and great for exercise, just enough support but not too much so you can exorcise your feet and ankles

Shoe had everything I wanted, lightweight, supportive, and a rocker type that might help my ankle arthritis but the toe box is too small (I ordered a wide). I am leery of ordering the x-wide because normally the volume is too much for me in that size. I did return the shoes. Perhaps another late stage rocker shoe with a wide toe box will be offerred.

I am so glad to have found this shoe. I do a great deal of walking in my job. In fact I clock so many steps it is like a daily hike. These shoes see me through all the walking I do in TOTAL cushioned comfort.And they weigh next to nothing! I have purchased two pairs of this model of shoe and I could not be happier with my purchase.

I use this shoe as a cross trainer. I purchased the Solimar online from the HOKA store, checked the fit by using all the help aids provided by HOKA. The only problem I have is your shoe is very narrow and what I would call my foot is a "regular-width foot". I realized to late that with the HOKA Solimar I would need an extra wide for a perfect fit.

This is almost as good as the original Hupana. I like it. Great all day shoe.

Very comfortable for walking.

I probably have purchased more than 10 pair of Hupanas over the past few years and am disappointed they aren't available now. I have been experimenting trying to find a replacement and tried several other brands and Hoka Mach 5 and and this is the closest so far. It's not as good as the original Hupanas but it is pretty good. It's important to me because I have arthritis and the Hupana literally erases a lot of the discomfort I experience as soon as I put them on. Please bring the original Hupanas back but for other guys like me that are trying to find a Hoka replacement this is type is close Hopefully this may save you from having several boxes of new shoes of many brands you will be returning like I do at the moment

Great shoe

I have wide foot and I can see my toes bulging out and makes shoe look ugly even with wide while walking. Still looking for comfortable walking shoe.

I loved the original Hupana and the Hupana EM, and wore it daily for the past 6 years. It's the only pair of shoes I can wear to the office as well as all day at the theme park. Last year Hoka came out with the Hupana Flow, and it had a different, much firmer midsole. The difference was immediately noticeable, and a lot less comfortable. The Solimar has the similar firm midsole as the Hupana Flow, which is a shame because the Solimar is the most stylish shoes in Hoka's line up. Hoka team, if you are reading this, PLEASE replace Solimar midsole with something bouncier similar to the original Hupana. I have no doubt that this combination will unlock a new whole new set of customers.

I love that Hoka finally came out with another low profile more streamline shoe. I have loved the Cavu and the Mach 3 and this shoe comes really close to those.
