I wear the Solimar at work. I am in clinical healthcare, so I am on my feet a lot. Overall this is a comfortable shoe, and it is a low-ish profile as far as Hokas go. I would prefer a gusseted tongue, as the tongue of the Solimar tends to slip to the side during the day, which I have not had happen with any other Hokas I've tried. I preferred the Cavu overall for work from a style and profile standpoint, but as with many HOKA lines, it was a short-lived shoe without a recognizable replacement. I road run in Rincon and Clifton, and I run trails in Challenger and Speedgoat. I don't think I would do any long runs in Solimar when there are other fantastic options. I think it would be a solid option for short runs under 10 miles.

I used my new HOKAS to do a lot of walking, while hosting family from another country. They kept my feet happy and feeling good.

I suffer from Hallux Rigid and needed a late stage forefoot meta-rocker. Well, these Hoka shoes are worth every penny. The pain is gone and I don't have pain and cramps in my big toe anymore.

I walk 3-5 miles daily and these help!

Great for the gym and everyday wear. Soft to walk on and conforms to your feet perfectly. By far the must comfortable shoes from hoka to date. The only draw back is the sizing. If you wear a 12 the maybe get a half size up.

The soles of this sneaker appears to be grey and it is bright white. Hoka also embedded numbers and letters (in black) on the side of the sole. Hola says its the measurements of the sneaker. I guess it's like the sidewalls of vehicle tires! I do not like it.

I use for around house exercise (weights, indoor golf, etc.) and love it. Maybe a *touch too narrow, but would not label as such per se.

These new Solimars are my new running/walking shoes. It's got great comfort with great styling. I wanna buy 2 more pairs of the same model!

I have been searching for a trainer that gives stability during lifts and comfort when running. This shoe does that. I have narrow feet so the heel is a little wide but other than that it's super comfortable!

Yes they are but they are also truly comfortable my third pair, but these are probably by far my favorite very light weight so when I am at the gym lifting heavy weights ate it mixed cardio easy on my feet
