I use the shoes as workout shoes and for walking. It's the most comfortable athletic shoe I've ever worn.

I'm a moderate runner (12-15 miles/week) and started using your shoes a few years ago when I began a weight loss program. I've used 4 different models over that time and have liked them all, but then they will change with newer versions and not be as good ex. Rincon 2 to Rincon 3. That is why I switched to the Solimar, and it is close to perfect for me, so don't ever change it or I will use my old shoes, run to your HQ and find the one responsible. Just kidding......or am I??? I have run in Saucony for probably 25 years and decide to see what all the rave was about with HOKA sneakers. I really like the look of the shoe. I wore them around walking for a day. The first time I ran in them (6 miles) I got a blister in the oddest place. On my inner lower ankle between my ankle bone and bottom of my foot. Now I am attributing the blister to my sock because I wore different socks yesterday for my run and did not feel the rub at all and did my 6 miles. We will see next time I run!

I received the first pair of Solimars and they were too narrow for my feet. Normally, I do not have to jump up to a wider width, but I did in this case. The other thing is the site suggested I go down a half size from what I normally wear, based on the shoes I have bought in the past. I decided to go against that recommendation and bought the length I normally go with and I'm glad I did. So far the shoes are very comfortable. I use them both as a trainer and also to work out in. At this point, I would most definitely buy another pair when the need comes about. The other thing, it was very easy to return the first pair, which was a nice change from other places I have dealt with.

I have a chronic foot problem. I wear HOKA Bondi SR leather as a tennis court shoe. I have now tried 3 other models to see if they work for me as a court shoe. None of them work and I have pain with anything other than the Bondi SR. I have kept the other models I have ordered and used for work and general use. They are great for those purposes. Just not hard court use. The Bondi SR does work and prevents the foot pain but they are not the optimal court shoe. They have such thick and high soles/base that I tend to roll my ankle and I'm not as fast in them. However, I use them because I do not hurt. If HOKA or someone else has a recommendation please say! Please HOKA, develop a court shoe I can use!

The shoe is a bit too small for the recipient. we bought a size up 11.5 and are returning the size 11 back to you. It was a gift and the recipient is shipping the 11 size back to you in the next few days.

I have MS and was looking for a sneaker that would give me more stability, comfort and light weight. So far I am ok with them. Need to have and use them more.

I have been running in Asics and On shoes for years and after talking with other runners and a salesman I thought I would give Hoka a try. Maybe I was expecting too much but the first time I put them on and went for a short run I was a little disappointed. They felt like a $50 pair of sneakers and not a $100+ running shoe. There was no real support and they were not as soft as I expected. Maybe I just purchased the wrong model but I went through the shoe selector on the Hoka website and also talked with the sales person to chose between the 2 models that I thought would work for me. They are not horrible.....but I wouldn't buy them again.

Just purchased Solimars. Very comfortable. Mesh uppers more flexible than Hupana so foot formation is more visible as a result. Less desirable to see that.

Shoe had everything I wanted, lightweight, supportive, and a rocker type that might help my ankle arthritis but the toe box is too small (I ordered a wide). I am leery of ordering the x-wide because normally the volume is too much for me in that size. I did return the shoes. Perhaps another late stage rocker shoe with a wide toe box will be offerred.

I use this shoe as a cross trainer. I purchased the Solimar online from the HOKA store, checked the fit by using all the help aids provided by HOKA. The only problem I have is your shoe is very narrow and what I would call my foot is a "regular-width foot". I realized to late that with the HOKA Solimar I would need an extra wide for a perfect fit.

I found the shoe tight across the metararsal. I have OC's and find them more giving, but not loose, across this area. Better fit for me. The shoes are very light. Wanted to try them since they were on sale. Will probably give them away.

Good quality Hoka but my toes feel restricted and I feel like I will eventually blow out the sides.
