I wear these for OT Fitness workouts. I selected these because they offered the cushiest soles. Unfortunately, when i do one leg balancing for one leg bicep curls my planted leg isn't as stable as I would like and the wobbling with each rep makes balancing difficult. Next time out I will select a model built more for stability vs max cushioning.

If you're looking for a lower profile, lighter weight Hoka model with the same quality and benefits of your other Hokas, Solimar is the shoe for you. I moved to this model for long urban (mainly sidewalk and bike path) hikes where I felt like I needed less cushion. Really love the feel and overall comfort!

I like the sleeker look of the Solimar series. I have a pair of the Clifton series. They are clunky looking, but very comfortable.

This is 3rd pair of Hokas. 3rd chance as highly recommended by 2 friends who are podiatrist. I walk 2-4 miles 3-5 days a week and they are comfortable BUT the back of the heel wears out in several weeks, exposing plastic support. I don't slip on/off and have tried different styles but the same issue each time.

74 Y/O walker. The shoe I purchased seems a little low profile for my needs.

I love these shoes! I use them mainly for walking, but occasionally I will go running. Everything about them is perfect! Go for it!

The shoes seem great, but they showed up with two different laces. One was 4 inches shorter than the other. The customer service said they couldn't send out new laces. They don't appear to sell laces either.

I purchased these sneakers for my son for Christmas. He loves them. He uses them for running.
They came in a reasonable amount of time. Very happy with the order. I purchased them for another one of my sons. He liked them when he saw them. So far both sons are very happy with the product.

The moment you start using them feel the great support under your feet, they feel light and almos fit like a glove. This is probably why I should have considered to buy 1/2 number more to have more room at the point of my feet.

I wanted to use the shoes for normal walking, but the soles of the shoe are not comfortable enough for my needs. For me it needed to be softer. I don't have enough fat on the bottom of my feet. So now I'm looking for other shoes.

I purchased these as a Christmas gift for my husband in his usual shoe size and had to return them and order a half size up. This model, Solimar, definitely runs narrow. Once the new pair arrived, he was thrilled!

I use the shoes as workout shoes and for walking. It's the most comfortable athletic shoe I've ever worn.

I'm a moderate runner (12-15 miles/week) and started using your shoes a few years ago when I began a weight loss program. I've used 4 different models over that time and have liked them all, but then they will change with newer versions and not be as good ex. Rincon 2 to Rincon 3. That is why I switched to the Solimar, and it is close to perfect for me, so don't ever change it or I will use my old shoes, run to your HQ and find the one responsible. Just kidding......or am I??? I have run in Saucony for probably 25 years and decide to see what all the rave was about with HOKA sneakers. I really like the look of the shoe. I wore them around walking for a day. The first time I ran in them (6 miles) I got a blister in the oddest place. On my inner lower ankle between my ankle bone and bottom of my foot. Now I am attributing the blister to my sock because I wore different socks yesterday for my run and did not feel the rub at all and did my 6 miles. We will see next time I run!

I received the first pair of Solimars and they were too narrow for my feet. Normally, I do not have to jump up to a wider width, but I did in this case. The other thing is the site suggested I go down a half size from what I normally wear, based on the shoes I have bought in the past. I decided to go against that recommendation and bought the length I normally go with and I'm glad I did. So far the shoes are very comfortable. I use them both as a trainer and also to work out in. At this point, I would most definitely buy another pair when the need comes about. The other thing, it was very easy to return the first pair, which was a nice change from other places I have dealt with.

I have a chronic foot problem. I wear HOKA Bondi SR leather as a tennis court shoe. I have now tried 3 other models to see if they work for me as a court shoe. None of them work and I have pain with anything other than the Bondi SR.
I have kept the other models I have ordered and used for work and general use. They are great for those purposes. Just not hard court use. The Bondi SR does work and prevents the foot pain but they are not the optimal court shoe. They have such thick and high soles/base that I tend to roll my ankle and I'm not as fast in them.
However, I use them because I do not hurt.
If HOKA or someone else has a recommendation please say!
Please HOKA, develop a court shoe I can use!
