They were not as padded as my previous pair of Nikes. You should better inform prospective customers about the comfort and fit of every shoe you make.

Trying to get back in to running again and this shoe has made a major improvement to cushion the running. Loving them so far.

I'm sold on HOKA. This shoe did come in a bit tight but broken quickly. Love them.

This is my go to shoe. Perfect for weights, walking, yoga and running on the tread mill. I needed to exchange my shoe for a wider version, and it is perfect and comfortable!!!

This is my 4th pair of Hoka's. I have enjoyed each pair and my feet always feel comfortable after using them. I recommend this brand to anyone who asks about running shoes or who complains about their feet hurting after a run.

Would be more comfortable if Hoka could reduce the extra material that is under the tongue at the bottom behind the laces. That little extra piece causes discomfort and rubbing. I noticed this on all their shoes. Seems like they could solve this problem so that piece is removed.

I use them mostly for walking on paved / gravel trails. The shoes fit well and are comfortable, but I do no think they will last long. Have worn them about 10 miles so far, and where the foam is not covered by rubber on the sole, it is already being worn away.

Quality is great. I've purchased three separate Hoka shoes within the last two weeks. The Solimar and Clifton 8's are running narrow and tight at the mid-sole. My Stinson's are perfect. I've got a Bondi coming and will see how they are.

A replacement for the beloved Akasa. Fixed the biggest problem--added hard rubber tread for durability and traction. Like the Akasa, the design disguises the thick soles and downplays the logo, and goes further--looks like a casual shoe you can wear to a restaurant or work; if like me you love Hokas and would wear them for everything if you could, this shoe is a necessity. Complaints: the Akasa had a balanced-to-plush sole, great for all day walking or a run, extremely comfortable and better as an athletic shoe. Solimar is described as balanced but may be closer to responsive. Also in being more stylish is longer with less width in the sole than Akasa or other Hokas. I'd prefer a bit more cushioning in the next iteration, and maybe trying a little less hard with the extra length.

I am on my feet and walk a lot at work, anywhere from 5-9 miles a day. I need light, comfortable, and long lasting shoes. These are great so far, and they feel like the replacement for the Hupana Flow shoes I loved.

This helped the pain in my foot. I can walk almost normally on it while wearing my Hokas.

I exchanged the shoes for a size issue and the exchange seemed to take forever. Also, you sent the wrong style in the second shipment. But, it's okay because I like the 2nd style. So, I'm keeping them.

The top of the shoes bunch up when tied tightly. The rest of the shoes seems to fit fine.

Overall they are pretty good for walking, but I notice that they are a little bit too firm if I walk a lot (5 miles or more). The Mach 4's we more more forgiving for me.

Comfortable and Great fit for a wide foot right off the bat. I use these for the gym and the comfort level is top notch. A little tough to get on, but it's worth it.

I wear the Solimar at work. I am in clinical healthcare, so I am on my feet a lot. Overall this is a comfortable shoe, and it is a low-ish profile as far as Hokas go. I would prefer a gusseted tongue, as the tongue of the Solimar tends to slip to the side during the day, which I have not had happen with any other Hokas I've tried. I preferred the Cavu overall for work from a style and profile standpoint, but as with many HOKA lines, it was a short-lived shoe without a recognizable replacement. I road run in Rincon and Clifton, and I run trails in Challenger and Speedgoat. I don't think I would do any long runs in Solimar when there are other fantastic options. I think it would be a solid option for short runs under 10 miles.
