I like the style, my friends and my sister all recommended Hoka to me because I work long hours in the pharmacy and I needed something to help with my foot pain and something comfortable. To be honest, I chose this one instead of the Clifton and the gaviota so maybe it's my fault. I'll defititely exchange them for a different model like the ones people tried and loved. One last thing, you can see your toes so I'd definitely recommend that anyone buying this model, size up!

Best running shoe I have ever had. I currently own three pairs of Hoka's, two of which are the Solimar's. I have tried multiple other running shoes from multiple other companies and these are the only ones where my feet don't hurt or peel when I'm done with a long run. Would recommend to anyone who wants to run without foot pain.

Have not worn them yet. The right shoe has a spot on it that looks like a grease mark. Not sure what I am going to do yet. I might try to remove the mark myself, but I think this not what I should have to do.

Based on numerous people who I've seen wearing Hokas, I decided to give them a try. First order, was too small. Started the return process (exchange for a bigger size). It was a very smooth process. It really couldn't have been better. Received the larger size and I'm extremely happy. Thanks!!!

I purchased these as a birthday gift for my husband. He is very picky with is shoes & he doesn't care for the styles with the chunkier sole, & so the Solimars were the perfect choice for him! He has had back surgery & works on his feet all day- the first couple of days he's worn them he said he felt like he was walking on air + no back pain. He already wants the other colors options!

I owned a pair of HOKA's before buying the Solimar. My intention is to have a shoe more for the gym, such as, strength training, cardio, and movement. So far so good

Most amazing shoes out there. Beyond comfort

It's OK for the price but not as comfortable as other shoes I've tried

The lightest shoes I've ever owned. I walk a lot in these, and I really should look at the walking shoes instead. But these are pretty great for an overall daily shoe.

I work out in my Hoka Mach 6 shoes. The Solimars are my everyday shoes. They look sharp and feel great. I'm the sort of prof who moves around a lot in the classroom. My footfalls are silent and sure as cat's paws in the Solimars.

Soliimar tends to run more narrow than others in the HOKA line. Found my favorite is the Gaviota 5 for my particular foot shape in fact that's why I return these in exchange for and now on my second pair of the Gaviotas and they are great.

Great all around shoe, you can workout, walking, just a very nice shoe.

Light weight, comfortable, supportive and good looking. Great shoe for the pickleball court!

Everyday walking around

The color is listed as LIMESTONE. I live near a limestone quarry. I was expecting a light tan/beige color like the rocks in this area. But the shoes are GRAY. And the pictures aren't very accurate. Maybe a better color description would be helpful instead of a vague color name.

Love this shoe. This is my second pair. It's very comfortable.

Walking on clouds. This is my second purchase in 6 months. Hooked on HOKA. It's great floating.

Bought these for wearing around Portland while on vacation. They were so light and comfortable I never felt any foot pain as I normally do with the miles we did. If you're looking for a great comfortable everyday shoe, look no further.

I've enjoyed walking in the HOKA Solimar shoe for over a year now! I ve worn it out, but always in comfort! My latest adventure was walking my HOKA Solimar shoes on the Great Wall in China! The 3-4 miles of walking on the wall wasn't even a thought, doing 15-18K steps per day! Thanks HOKA
