Did not work well with plantar fasciitis; too hard feeling transmitting shock into foot with each step.

Shoes looked previously worn. Also clumsy to drive with.

I'm not sure if it's the size (I normally order 10.5 and they suggested 11) but I get tight and sore in my calves and knees wearing these. Afraid if I go a size down will be too small in the toe box. Terrible for any sort of hard surface (no momentum actually feels like you are stuck) but ok for soft surfaces. Soles are very strangely designed very wide and long. Wish they made shoes of this material in a different style because I have to choose between being dry or sore (gortex fabric in my experience is water resistant not waterproof these are actuallywaterproof if that's a main concern when purchasing.)

I've purchased probably 20 pair of Hokavshies and SEVERAL pair of the KAHA 2 LOW GTX, alone!
Hoka (sadly) has STILL NOT GOTTEN THE SIZING RIGHT on the KAHA 2LOW GTX model and I'm fed up with the company for that reason!
This specific model shoe runs big and when worn, I must wear TWO pair of SKATING socks, in order for the shoes to feel like they fit!
I'll not buy this model shoe, again!
DISAPPOINTED

Shoes looked great. Padding in heal was good.
Rubbed blister on inside of heal. Didn't breath very well, so was hot if weather was warm.
Didn't like how far heel stuck out back, made stairs hard.

Nice shoes, comfortable but heavier than expected. Bought them for upcoming trip to Scotland. The long ankle area takes some getting used too. Broke them in and ready to test them in the highlands, cobble stone roads, and test the waterproofing in the rain.

I have been wearing Hokas for years and I ordered the same size as usual, but these were too big.

Shoe is too hot doesn't have any circulation. Shoes are also too narrow!!! I would return them but they got dirty.

I wore these in my living room for three minutes. They are the correct size, but too much heel slippage, and an uncomfortable creasing of the leather where the foot flexes. I'm exchanging them for the Anacarpa 2 mid (to prevent heel slipping) GTX. Hopeful again! Returns/exchanges are easy.

Definitely comfortable wore these all day most days on a recent trip to Sweden with lots of mixed walking sidewalk, trail, loose gravel, and the shoes stayed comfortable all day long. And they look great out of the box - as good or better than they did on the site. Thought they'd transition well from trail to the city, maybe even to our casual office.
Fit was difficult the last didn't seem to match any of the other Hokas I have bought to date, and my regular size was a bit large in the toe box, and the next half-size down a little tighter in the toe box than my typical Hoka fit. In the end I settled for the larger size. The second disappointment was how bad they looked after a couple weeks of walking in them every day. They had gotten wet in dewy grass - nothing worse than that. Walked packed trails and some gravelly Swedish beaches, but nothing more challenging - not "hiking" per se. The upper has wrinkled/puckered in a way that just doesn't look city or casual office-ready. Just looks messy. For the price, I feel they ought to stand up to wear better than that, and Hoka can do a better job managing sizing across different models.

Only width available is D, which causes the tongue and uppers to bunch when you tie them up snug. Wish more width options were available.

Bought shoes, great as expected. Probably 7th pair and always great. This time came with a damaged shoe lace. Customer service couldn't send me replacement laces, only return the whole shoe. What a hassle. They told me they don't have laces ??? Maybe buy again. Maybe not.

Love my Hoka’s. Wanted to love these. Extremely well built. However, my foot slid forward while walking. Bring back the old Speed Goat style.

The Kaha 2's are very nice-looking but not as comfortable as I would have liked. My feet can't seem to stay inside the shoe when I walk and jump due to the "v-cut" on the shoe that rests right below the ankle. It gets worse when I run because then the shoe feels like it's going to fall off. I tightened the shoe as best as I could but it still didn't resolve the problem. It just feels like it's going to fall off at any moment. On a positive note, the inside of the shoe was very comfortable. And although the shoe felt heavy when holding onto them with each hand, the weight was not noticeable when wearing the shoes. I ended up exchanging the Kaha 2's for another the Anacapa Low.

The original Kaha,11.5, fit me perfectly. The new Kaha 2 Low is slightly shorter and narrower in the toe. And the laces don't cinch as tightly at the top. The result is that my big toe touches the front of the shoe. I returned them, and rather than size up, I was able to find another pair of the original Kaha Low, which fit me better. The new version is nice and seemed to have minor improvement, but the fit is a bit tighter.

Right off the bat, they are heavier than I expected - hardly any lighter than the Merrells I have. The sole is well made and plenty grippy, but its relative inflexibility means less comfort than my other Hokas. I will continue to break them ion and see if these areas improve.

I regret not having read the reviews before ordering these shoes. I received them today 12/03/24 and as soon as I tried them on I felt my foot sliding inside the shoes. I definitely do not want them and will be returning them since they do not fit my size and are not comfortable either. I would like to exchange them for a Speedgoat 6 Mid GTX. I will need to speak to customer service because all my shoes that I buy at HOKA I do so with afterpay.

I have worn New Balance for years. Decided to try Hokas which were recommended by friends and family. Don't fit nearly as good as New Balance and paid over twice the price of New Balance. I'm one and done.

Have purchased several Hoka shoes and really liked the "plush" cushion feel. However, these do NOT have that same cushioning and are very uncomfortable. In addition, these seem to force the knee and ankle to turn in, causing even more stress when hiking. Returning and won't buy these again.

Avid wearer of Speedgoats I wanted to branch out. I'm training for a 30 mile hike/run and saw that these were maximum cushion and Goretex. While they kept my feet dry they felt like I was walking on pavement with little cushioning. As others mentioned the heel slip. I had to tie these soooo tight to keep my heel in the shoe.

Own two earlier Kahas. Kaha 2 is bigger and clunkier than the originals and I think a little less plush. Great return service, though.Might try the new unisex Kaha. Looks more like the original.
