If yo normally wear wide shoes, these may not be for you. I used Hoka's online size converter when ordering; from my usual wide shoe, it recommended a 9.5D, but they were painfullly tight. Back they go.

Very odd-fitting shoes. Ended up with blisters and having to walk in socks. The laces do nothing to secure the shoes. The front of the shoe isn't exceptionally wide but the back kept slipping off.

These shoes gave me problems with my achilles tendon, heel fit and support for foot. Overall feet hurt after a long hike and not for me.

I think the Hoka Speedgoat would be better for my needs

This was the fourth pair of Hoka shoes I have purchased. All other shoes were true to size but this pair wasn't sized the same as others in their line and were too small. I suspect the padding on the heel was too thick which pushed the foot forward causing my toes to be jammed at the front of the shoe.

Now that I have the Gaviota 4's in a wide, none of the other shoes are supportive and stable enought for my pronating arches. I really.need the J- frame in a wide hiking shoe.

These shoes have bruised my toenails. I've tried everything to no avail. They were expensive and I can't wear them.

I like their shoes and hike in them daily BUT wanted to change styles and the size differs from style to style. Best choice is to try them on at a store.

I have bought many pairs of Hokas what I've noticed is several pairs were unwearable. These are probably the worst. The gait is weird and the area under my ankle really started rubbing against shoe and ended up hurting me . Obviously no one wears these shoes to test them before selling them to the public

The Kaha is supposed to be plush. It is not plush. I own 3 pairs of Bondi and an old pair of Tur. Those are plush. Kaha is not a soft ride. Also the fake leather is not flexible. My Bondi leather pair is flexible. This is disappointing, and I will have to find a different company for my waterproof hiking shoes.
