I've only worn them twice but I can say that they are very comfortable and much lighter than anticipated. Tread is not to aggressive but I can move about with confidence on rocks

Have taken these out on a short test hike and so far I LOVE THEM. They are comfortable, flexible and grippy!

The first pair I received I had to send back immediately because one of the lace hooks came off the first time I tried to try them on. Luckily there was free shipping on a return and I got the new pair soon after. They are very comfortable and seem pretty durable. The lugs somehow seem a little springy, but in a good way. Not sure if that's a feature or they just feel that way. I have yet to fully put them to the test, but I look forward to it to see how they really perform. I have the Salomon Quest 4 GTX already, but wanted something more cushioned. The Kaha's remind me of a cross between a sneaker and snowboarding boot. Hopefully they won't let me down.

Now I have 2 pairs!
Great for hiking but I wear them all day, every day as well.
At work and at play.
Thanks!

I just got my Kaha 2 GTX and I wrote a bad review that they were painful on my ankle Bones and were not cushy. I tried them this morning and the painful ankle pain is barely felt this morning. The cushioning is also getting better, I think wearing them with get better whenever your walking on hot pavement or rock. Being in a box and in air conditioning since they were made, the sole material was really stiff until you can wear them and the sole material gets a workout making the sole material flexible and squishy under your feet. The more I wear them in Honolulu's sun and heat they change walking around in the sun and the hot black pavement. Being in air conditioning they must have been too cold for the sole's to be squishy and comfortable. I am worried if they will get really hard in cold temperatures. I just hope wearing them won't do that when I first wore them. I will make sure I rewrite my review after I've been wearing them most of the time but not all the time. I bought them for the PCT trail for next spring and I'm looking at several other shoes and boots that Hoka makes

The high-top provides the extra support my husband needs. I surprised him for his birthday, he was very impressed with the wide design of the toe area. The burnt orange color combination with tan bottom is very handsome. He loves for his shoes to show color and personality. The KAHA 2 GTX delivers. It's well made. He hopes that HOKA continues to expand their High-Top color options for Males. Overall, very satisfied!

Best footwear for stability and comfort. I have an arthritic ankle that is advanced, and this shoe is extremely supportive. Originally bought a black pair for work hoping for the best. I now have 2 more for outside of work.
Being able to be on my feet all day is priceless!

@ 64, my foot was rebuilt due to an age-old birth defect vs an adolescent sprinting injury. Post surgery, I followed the surgeon's instructions to the best of my anility. The rebuilt ankle went from 6 months of recasts, to pneumatic plastic therapy boot for a month. Finally to a velcro pressure wrapped ankle brace to this hiking boot. The foot was new to walking correctly with maximum support. After months of research & trying on different size 13-DD, this was the boot for maximum support & ease of use. Almost all other pairs of boots & shoes will be donated due to improper fit & wear. After two weeks of trial & error lacing methods, both boots are comfortable to wear. Due to surgery, left foot was fused successfully with hardware & cadaver bone, never to run or jump on that foot again, but able to swim, walk and bicycle!

This is my third pair. The first one had a defect, the second pair had wasn't water proof . But this pair perfect. The cushion is great, the leather to protect the foot is great. The waterproof aspect of it is perfect. I work in landscaping daily 6-7 days a week sometimes. Need a stable, comfortable, waterproof, snake proof and vision type of boot. This is not! Well worth the money!

I use these boots at work and I work in every industry imaginable. If they have a scale I'm there. They are not safety toe, but unless they are physically checked, they can pass as such. So far, eight months and going strong

First few days I wore these, I did over 10k steps each day. . Absolutely comfortable out of the box. I am in central CA, and it is too hot to wear these at this time. They were on sale too.

I walk on average 7-14 miles a day from the first of October until the end of March. They are the most comfortable boot I have ever wore. They eliminated my lower back pain. They will keep your feet dry, and are very durable.

I love the shoes super comfy. A little to skinny for my left foot gave me a blister but hoping they stretch just a. Little!

I use these for work, climbing on and off equipment, walking on rocky gravel, and they are very comfortable. If you are looking for a durable hiking shoe/boot that looks great and feels even better, this is it.

As an avid hiker, I wear hiking boots year-round. The Kaha 2 GTX has everything I need--support, wide toe box, sturdy, and great cushion. The sole is tough and lasts. I won't hike with any other boot!
