I purchased this but didn't fit so returned it but you don't have my size in the color I like. The only shoe in my size is in a terrible color so I have to buy a shoe a half size smaller. Hopefully this works. I also have purchased 7 pair of shoes this year and haven't received any discounts other than free shipping. That's not right- Unacceptable

I wear an 8/8.5 mens shoe. Kaha's were comically narrow. Like, made for tiny women's feet. I dont have very wide feet either, though i am mostly flat footed. Hoka needs to offer "wide" in more styles that arent just low ankle sneakers. I returned them.

These boots were the most comfortable I've had, but they only lasted five months before the outsole lost all of its tread and the shoe laces fell apart. I'm buying a second pair because of how comfortable they are, but knowing they will not last very long at all.

I would recomend replacing the shoe inserts if you buy these. They do seem pretty durable and are very lightweight. I tried the bondi sr before and I would highly recomend those instead. I bought these thinking they would be just as comfortable but with extra ankle support.

Although these hiking boots fit well, had excellent cushioning, and were quite comfortable to stand in, I found walking in them a problem. With the angled heel, my feet seemed to impact the ground on the lateral surface of my heels and feet. This caused my feet to get pushed medially to level themselves out on the ground. I was afraid that, over time, this might affect my gait and cause problems. So, I returned them.

I find these very comfortable. I have a terrible time finding hiking boots. I bought men's as I did not find any wide women's that I liked- I bought the blue and it is cool. I feel like a stylish hiker. I bought a size 71/2 , I wear a women's 8, but 81/2 in the last HOKA. these are a little big, but ok. Nest time I would try a men's 7. That make it 100% All of my shoes are HOKA.

I've had a busy summer hiking the Colorado mountains, however the lacing system on these boots is extremely difficult to tighten the boots or even get the laces out of the clasps, not fun on the side of a mountain just trying to tighten the fit. Also, the clasps are subject to getting caught, scraped with rocks since they are not low profile. Also, maybe some lacing instructions would help, especially for the multiple holes, as I scoured the internet and could not find anything. Love Hoka as a brand and I own 6 pairs, Arahi 6, Bondi 7s and 8s are fantastic.

Color is not as pictured. It's more pink than rust and I don't like it.

The KAHA 2 GTX was recommended to me by a CS Bot on the HOKA site, as it was wider than most. I again found the boot not showing signs that it would hold up under the duress of normal hiking/rocky paths. And it was not comfortable. It is too high priced for a flimsy feeling boot that won't last very long under avid hiker condition. Hoka just is not getting the clue of the needs of the hiking community/boots that Merrell and others have attained. Sorry HOKA, I will stick with the Bondi 8 for the street but no hiking boots for me.

The Kaha Mid GTX boot was light and comfortable, but felt pain at the ankle bone after walking a bit.

The heel is a bit loose, I ordered a 13 which I normally am, but returned for a 12.5 and it fits much better. It is a bit bulky

Clearly this boot is well constructed, and because I have run in Bondis and Speedgoats for over 10 years without an issue, and wear Ora Primos in the OR for 12+ hour shifts, I thought that the negative reviews of these were probably a little blown out of proportion. Then I broke them in over a week and went on a 6 mile hike. Initially they felt fine, but I did notice less support than my Keens give me, and by mile 4 I could feel the blisters starting. I wear Balega socks and regularly do hikes that are 6+ miles and often with 3000ft plus elevation changes. Had multiple pairs of Keens and never had an issue, but I had to return these. Soles felt nicely firm for rock/boulders and traction felt competent. I did not test if they were waterproof. I love all my other Hokas, and have no doubt these are great boots for some, just not me. Definitely take them for a test hike before you commit to them. Hoka made the return extremely easy and I am very appreciative of that. Bondis, Cliftons, Speedgoats, and Ora Primo are the greatest shoes I have ever had; wish the boots were too.

I've been happy with every other Hoka I've purchased, which is several, but I'm wondering about this one. I got it for hiking, and took it out walking to get some break in. While they felt good initially, there is a seam on the left shoe upper that irritates my ankle severely. By the time I went 3 miles I could barely walk. I tried to wear it again the next day but it was too painful from residual rubbing that I came back after a couple of hundred yards. It looks nice. I want to like the shoe but we'll see how it goes. I waited a week and wore it around the house without too much difficulty, but I'm very concerned with any longer walking/hiking for now. I was a little disappointed I couldn't use it on my 3 days of hiking around Capitol Reef. The other surprise was that the tongue was short enough that top lace just barely hits it and sometimes it will move above the tongue. I've seen this on cheaper shoes before but not on Hoka's. This just seems like reducing quality to save a centimeter of fabric, which is concerning given it is the most expensive pair I have ever purchased.

I work in law enforcement. I chose these boots because of what I have heard about Hoka products. I also had plantar fasciitis in the past, so I really wanted a super comfortable shoe. The grip of the sole is awesome, the size was just right for me 12 1/2. I was expecting more bounce, more cushion on my feet. I thought these shoes were going to feel like I was walking on a cloud. I immediately put insoles in the boots and that made it feel better. But for the price I don't think I should have to add any insoles for extra comfort. If this is the most comfortable boot, I might try a less expensive one that might feel similar and just add the insoles. I will try them out for a full month to see if I adapt to the boots.

I love this shoe for summer hiking, I would wear it everyday hiking my dog in the mountains. But I need it in a wide, I would end up buying a new pair probably twice a year, one at the beginning of the summer and one for the winter. Please give us a wide option. And my rating would move up to a 5 star.

I had back surgery ~15 years ago and my leg/calf is in constant discomfort due to how I walk as a result of the injury. I ordered a fairly expensive pair of "orthopedic shoes" and when they arrived I was horrified, you know the ones - (picture beige with Velcro straps). I then learned about Hoka and ordered a pair of sneakers. Loved them so much I had to get something more rugged for hiking/working. These Kaha 2 gtx shoes not only look fantastic but it's like having helium in my feet. Lightweight and sturdy, very rugged. The only problem is that the sole seems to be un-gluing from the shoe - it's not terrible at the moment but I've only worn them ~a dozen times and at this price point the quality should be better. I'm about to execute an exchange, here's to hoping the next set is correct.

I had high hopes to hike and hunt in the Kaha GTX. I have run in Speedgoats for years and love them. The boots are pretty comfortable but after one overnighter with about 5 miles off trail hiking, the heel sole rubber(for grip and traction) is peeling off. I have superglued to reinforce the attachment.

I liked the shoe design except for the three rows of hook loops on the top of the boot, made it hard to lace up I think. they were fairly light for a boot, they rubbed the ankles a little to much for me. I returned them for a running shoe instead.

I'm a police captain (so mostly office work). I loved my other Hoka's so I was thrilled to see they had an all black tactical boot that I could wear at work. I convinced several people in my department to also purchase this boot. They are super comfortable, but the tread on the outer edge is coming apart from the rest of the sole. Not just on my boots, but everyone who has purchased them. They lasted less than a year before I had to try and glue the sole back together.

These boots are so comfortable and have really helped my planter fasciitis. Unfortunately after wearing a handful of times the soles began to squeak. Both shoes whether wet or dry. I am a birder and imagine the looks on the faces of the other birders as we try to quietly approach watching birds. Super disappointed because this is the first comfortable boot I have found. And the idea of taking the time to repackage and mail back is too tedious. Other places have you take a photo.

I have a number of Hokas and I've been happy with all of them for the most part. Just got my Hoka Kaha 2 GTX hiking boots. I've hiked in very comfortable ECCO hiking boots most of my life but due to a recent back injury I wanted something lighter. The KAHA's are definitely lighter, the overall design could be a little better, I have somewhat small feet and they look a bit 'dorky'. But my bigger criticism is the lack of cushioning, plush feeling, that I've felt in most Hokas, odd that in the shoe that most needs it it seems lacking in the cushioning dept. I daily rock Bondi 8's, way more cushioning and comfortable
