I use these for everyday use including the gym, walking around a huge Bus Center with plenty of hazards, and because I have achilles tendonitis and am a large dude (250 lbs.) that HAS to have a ton of outsole underneath and firm support above. I will say below that they are true to size and they are, BUT across my forefoot they are just a bit too narrow. It's alright because they offer maximum support all around my foot which is worth the tradeoff.

Takes a second to break in , best if you are walking constantly, may hurt a little if your standing on concrete a long time and not moving. I recommend

I purchased the pair as a birthday gift for my son who only wears HOKA Kaha because of his back. Walking, standing, commuting and birdwatching are easier when he wears the Hoka Kaha.

I have fairly wide feet for a female and struggle with hiking boots but ordered these in a mens size and have been super happy with the purchase. They are extremely comfortable and supportive but don't feel like I am wearing bricks.

My second pair. There are some improvements from my first pair and some features that are not as good. Improvements include sticking on toe caps to help prevent them coming unattached (which happened with my first pair). The heel is much improved. The tongue is not as good. They took away the feature where the laces when through a tab on the tongue to prevent the laces from working their way up over the tongue. This new pair doesn't have it so now my laces work their way over the tongue regardless of how you tie them, So I do not use the top eyelet to prevent this. I would strongly recommend going back to the previous design on the tongue. Super comfortable and truly water proof.

I have recently discovered the HOKA brand. I can't tell you how much HOKA has changed my life.
It sounds silly but the comfort in their shoes, sandles and boots are second to none. I workout everyday...running, hiking, lifting, tennis, etc. and I always have pain in my feet after exercising. I had just excepted it until now. After using HOKAS for months, I can honestly say this brand has changed my life. The pain and soreness is gone and I can't say enough good things about HOKA.
The Kaha 2 GTX is extremely comfortable with great stability!

Just received my Kana 2 GTX Blue Coral. Happy to see the blue is slightly darker than the website picture. These hiking boots are very cushioned, equal to my Bondi 7's. Size 11 fits like all Hoka size 11's. Nice space in the toe box.I am confident they will perform as advertised because Hoka has never disappointed me.

They are just like other HOKA products AWESOME
I would continue to buy. They are waterproof, BUT if you get water inside they don't drain and dry fast. So if wading not the best, but they don't claim to be water wading shoe either.

My husband and I both are on our feet all day and as a Police Officer for over 30 years I have tried all sorts of brands but Hoka by far exceeds all others. Wish they offered a discount to military and first responders.

Had a different version before and loved it and this one is even better. Love that there's some fun colors to choose - I got the blue one. It fits so nicely and my toes can BREATHE while I hike. Did 10 mile hike without breaking them in and it was a cake walk.

I have been happily wearing Hoka Speedgost Mid GTX shoes but wanted something a bit more trail worthy for a high mountain backpacking trip I'm planning. I'm also recovering from a medial/deltoid ankle sprain from a freak accident. Stuff happens. My Speedgoats have been the only shoe I can wear with the ankle injury, and amazingly, these Kaha 2 GTX shoes are even better. Perfect support for me, a neutral design that's perfect for my neutral stride, and plenty of firm-yet-soft comfort. They are plushier than the Speedgoats but definitely firm enough for carrying a backpack. The weight is terrific too. I haven't tried them around water yet but am confident that the Goretex works. My size 13 fit perfectly, appropriate space in the toe box and a lacing system that makes for easy adjustment.
