I bought my husband the sneakers for Christmas and just bought him the boots and he wants to get another pair. He loves them. He is on his feet all day for his job and they make a huge difference.

I received my Kaha 2 GTX's less than a week before hiking the Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim. They were comfortable right out of the box and didn't require any breaking-in. They carried me all the way to the end of my Grand Canyon Hike (28 miles) without any blisters or foot pain. I would definitely buy these again.

Got the Kaha 2 GTX for daily wear with a casual uniform. Performs beyond expectations, especially on trails and some more technical surfaces. Solid ankle support and comfortable during 20-hour shifts. Highly recommend!

Very high quality!! Very comfortable. I've always had feet that hurt. I have tendinitis in my feet & ankles. I've maintained a 70lb weight loss & fairly rigorous workout routine for the past 6 yrs. Things are better, but I'm always in quest of the best footwear

The shoe is wide enough to support Orthodics
and comfortable enough to wear daily for ankle support.

I am 6'2" tall and 205 lbs with a size 14 foot. Finding the right hiking boots has been an adventure to say the least. I have purchased and returned three other big brand names and was about to give up until I found these Hokas. They took just a couple of hikes to get them broken in and I can't tell you how comfortable they are while being very supportive. Just did a day hike from Stein Erikson Lodge in Deer Valley, Utah to the top of Bald Mountain and they were absolutely perfect. Even the mama moose and her baby that we encountered along the trail approved!

I wear Arizona AFO's braces on both feet n legs. These mid tops really help me to stay stable. My Chiropractor recommended Hoka brand for more sole protection. I live in a farm and that's all wear now.

I pounded these boots with no letup with a 40 lb backpack on side hills, rocky trails and steep slopes.
* pros: like wearing my running shoes, excellent traction, most comfortable boots I've ever worn.
* cons: not waterproof on wet trails with grass and brush, side hills weren't very fun,
Overall I'm very happy with my purchase as with all my Hokas, the very best hikers I've worn hence the 5 stars.

I work as a professional backpacking guide during the summer and winter months. I recently upgraded to these boots from the original Kahas. My original Kaha boots lasted two seasons. For most that would be a red flag only lasting 2 seasons, but remember I work as a guide and my boots see much more use than the average person's.
I have plantar fasciitis and normally need insoles in all my shoes except for all of my Hokas, these included. I wore these straight out of the box and guided a 3 day trip in Yosemite. Having not previously broken them in, I was worried about blisters. These boots were so comfortable and supportive. I didn't have any foot issues and even my foot fatigue was less than it usually would be.
My one gripe with the old Kahas were they were not as waterproof as I expected in the snow despite being advertised as such. I have yet to test the new Kaha2 in wet conditions, but I'm optimistic.

Multiple wet wading fly fishing trips in Montana this summer. Sandals proved as stable as wading boot but much lighter nd more confortable. Very quick drying- always ready for next days' fishing trip.
