I own dozens of great shoes(because I have a problem, ha ha) and these are EASILY in the top two when comparing to my Brooks, Asics, New Balance, On, Nike, and Salomon runners...terrific comfort and support truly unlike any of my others. Very confidently recommend these to anyone who want to run or walk for miles and miles.

I work in the medical field and my job requirements is to work standing up all day long and my lower back was hurting so bad. Since I started wearing my Gaviota 4 the pain in my back is gone! I highly recommend this brand! I'm looking forward to my next running shoes purchase!

These shoes have been the most comfortable I've ever worn. I'm a big man. I'm around 330lbs the support I feel in these are something I haven't had in a shoe in years. I hope they last a while if they wear out quickly that will be the only complaint I'd have but so far absolutely 5 star.

For everyday use and walking

I truly do love these shoes. I'm wondering if I should go up in width for my next pair. I've always known that I had wide feet, but didnt know exactly how to calculate that. So I'll probably go up a width next time :) But wonderful pair of shoes for walking these NYC streets!

A very comfortable shoe for pounding out miles on the pavement.

I have worn/used a few running shoes. I am an avid runner, and I would consider myself an intermediate runner. I have worn Nike, ASICS, Brooks, and now Hoka. My foot/ankle is slightly pronated. However, my answering of the questions to determine which shoe for me to wear with Hoka was completely accurate. And the shoe fits with me accurately. Great feel well running very comfortable as compared to the other shoes as mentioned earlier.

These were my first pair of Hoka's, and I'm very pleased as well as impressed with the quality,cushioning, stability, style, and overall wearability. This will definitely not be the last pair that I will ever purchase. I have tried several different brands and I have finally found the best ones for my feet. I keep asking myself how and why did I wait so long to buy these.

Perfect for long days

Hokka customer service was great as they assisted in finding the best shoe for my needs. Needed to return my normal size 12 for 12.5.

Wasn't sold on Hokas until I gave them a try. Very satisfied with the fit and comfort. Will definitely be switching from ASICS

They are light. Very supportive. Make my feet feel wonderful. Great pair of shoes!

I love Gaviota! Really wish you didn't change the laces, they don't stay tied well. Actually like the tongue attached to one side.

I like to run, and Hoka's Gaviota are my go-to. Just love their lightness and stability.

The shoes offer great stability and comfort. I have not identified any negative characteristics to comment on.

Walking

The cushioning and stability are super. Extremely comfortable and the added cushioning makes it easy on my aging knees and hips. A wonderful shoe that makes walking enjoyable.

Breathe able material makes these feel soft on my feet. Feels like walking on pillows

Been a fan of ASICS and New Balance but HOKA takes it to another level with really good support and cushioning.

Recovering from new hip surgery in the Chicago winter, requires stability and secure footing-- oh, comfort is an added plus. They meet all requirements and then some. Northwestern Univ. Medical orthopedic staff swear by HOKA!

Very happy with my purchase!

I am a sterile processing tech. and I am busy on my feet all day at the hospital. I've been searching for some great sneakers and finally got some with these! They're comfortable and offer great support all day long.

I'm taking up long walks now that the weather is getting nice and trying to heal up from surgeries. I needed a stable and comfortable show that can go for lots of miles.
