Everyday use

I purchased these shoes a week ago and they have been amazing! Very comfortable and cushioned on my feet. The color choices are cool too, would definitely recommend to family and friends looking for a solid walking shoe.

The cushioning and my hookers has been taken away the pain in my foot when I run. These are great shoes.

Size extra-wide is very good for feet with fragile metatarsal bones because of the wide toebox and cushioning

I've been dealing with foot and ankle pain and was recently diagnosed as having high inflexible arches which cause under pronation/supination that lead to perineal tendinitis. My foot dr recommended Hoka Gaviotas. I bought a pair and honestly they make a big difference for me. Since the purchase, I have become aware of shoes that offer support and motion control, a category I didn't know about previously. Gaviotas are crazy plush which protect my high inflexible arches and offers a very very stable platform that helps my foot stay in a better position. Those two pieces (and a great orthotic) are helping to reduce my foot/ankle pain and gives me the space to beat this pain problem. Also, they come in multiple widths. Since my foot dr said I was an EE width, I'm extra happy to see Hoka (be one of few companies to) offer multiple widths. One bit of negativity here, within 3 weeks of purchase the pull on tab at the heel broke off. It now drags on the ground and collects pine needles. Fortunately customer service is helping me with this. One more thought-would somebody at Hoka please offer the same Gaviota BUT with an off road tread, one that holds it's shape and doesn't squirm under pressure which would make it less stable IMO. It's very challenging to find a trail sneaker/sneaker boot (running or hiking) that offers the stability/motion control like Gaviotas. Trust me, hard to find. The Tor and Speedgoats might come close but I wish the stability/motion control choice could be made more clear. Bottom line? Gaviotas are fantastic for many reasons ESPECIALLY if you want a plush and stable shoe. Please make a trail/hiking version soon. I will buy many pairs.

Hoka Gaviota is the most comfortable running shoe I have ever worn. I used to rotate shoes, but not after the Gaviota. I have a flat narrow foot and it is comfortable and supportive.

I have severe pes planus (congenital flat foot) which will require surgical intervention, which I have to delay due to work. I need a shoe with a supportive midsole and shank since my occupation requires prolonged. Standing and weightbearing. The Gaviota 4 provides enough cushioning and pronation control to help reduce foot, ankle and plantar fascial pain so I can stand and walk better with fewer breaks to sit down. Also, less pain results in the need for less anti-inflammatory medication.

These are the most comfortable shoes I think I have ever worn. I stand my job for almost the whole 8 hours there, and my feet don't hurt.

I take a daily three mile walk. This is the most comfortable, supportive shoe I've ever worn.

Running.

I run daily. Anywhere from 2 to 13 miles! These shoes have been keeping my feet very comfortable!

Fit and feel is prefect.

Beautiful sneaker very comfortable I love the s style and the colors.

I work out weight training basketball getting around little tight in the toebox. You guys need to sell replacement inserts. Shoes are expensive.

I finally tried Hoka. They feel great as advertised. And I fi ally found a color I like.

I now have three pairs of Hokas. This is my favorite. Like Goldilocks and the three bearsCliftons were too soft. Arahis too hard. Graviotas just right! I'm about 6' 300lbs and could walk all day in these.
