Really enjoying the shoes so far. My knees have always been an issue for me during runs, but so far they feel great!

I use for running and everyday walking the dog. These are a great supportive, stable, and well cushioned shoe. Ordering from the website was ideal too as it gave full access to all ranges and sizes. I used the shoe finder as well which was bang on.

Wish HOKA made this shoe in an all black for my size (10.5 Wide)

Long distance Marathoner for 35 years wearing ASIC Kayano's. Hoka seems like a better ride. Love em although I don't run anymore for health reasons

GREAT shoes...have tried lots and lots these are the ONLY ones that help with my plantar fasciitis. Will only buy these from now no...love them

These are my 3rd pairs of Hokas I'm a respiratory therapist and on my feet all day and these shoes are absolutely perfect!!

My first pair came from a local shoe store. The support as well as comfort that the shoes provided were responsible for my buying a second pair in another color.

Excellent shoe but not waterproof. A leather version of the Gaviota would be great.

I work a job that requires a lot of walking and standing for 10+ hours a night. Before HOKA my feet would hurt so bad that it was daily massages and having to use my cane when I woke up. Ever since using HOKA shoes, my feet have felt amazing. I was weary about the results for the first couple of days, because my feet still hurt the same if not worse, but after about 3-4 days wearing them and getting them broke in, they are they best decision for my feet. Now I have to get my wife a pair.

2 words: Life Changing. I'm someone that has had foot issues all my life due to some extremely flat feet. I dealt with painful plantar fasciitis for ~5 years as a college athlete - it was normal for me to be limping around the house for the first 15 mins or so after getting out of bed, until my feet would "warm up" and not hurt as bad. The only negative thing is that I didn't find Hoka back then. Recently I decided to treat myself with an early birthday gift that would actually be useful and beneficial to me. I decided to find a good pair of supportive and comfortable shoes, no matter how ugly they may be. I spent some time looking through Brooks, ASICS, and Hoka. I know somebody that has raved about each brand and could attest to their quality/comfort. The one thing that I did hear is how amazing Hoka were - like I remember the enthusiasm that a friend told me that with, so I looked toward Hokas. I wasn't 100% sure how these Gaviotas would be but I did my due diligence on what I was looking for in a shoe and what this one offered. I had an idea in my head of how they would be, which ended up being completely wrong even though it was still positive. When I received the box, I remember picking up one shoe and being like, "this is almost too light for the size and support". These shoes may look chunky but boy are they light! That was the first thing that caught my attention. Once I put them on and walked around, I immediately knew I spent my money well. The whole science and stuff behind the j frame support is no joke - I very much pronate when I walk and I felt like a newborn calf trying to walk at first, meaning it was just so awkward since I could feel the shoe supporting me against pronation and correcting my foot. It seriously feels like you're locked into these shoes. That was the biggest life changing thing with these shoes, along with how plush the cushioning is. Unbelievable. The quality of these shoes is 10/10 - buy these!!

I have a hard time finding a comfortable decent looking shoe in a wide size but I am very happy with these.

Fits good and comfortable.

Expensive but worth it for the comfort, stability and quality.

I have trouble taking them off!
