I was advised by Hoka rep that this show would be a good pick for me because of its neutral arch. I have naturally flat feet (not fallen arches) and any arch support just jabs into my feet. Anyway, these shoes still jab into my feet. I made the mistake of cutting the insert to try and compensate for the arch support but I broke the warranty by doing that. So I'm stuck with shoes that didn't meet my needs. Disappointing seeing as how I talked to a rep first. The shoes are made fantastically well and would be great for someone without the foot issues that I have. It was a bad recommendation from someone who tried their best.

Nikes are better made. and more stylish. Hoka is a look that is only appreciated by a few.

I have the Clifton's and absolutely love them. I tried these this time around and did not care for them so I returned them. I did not feel like o had as much ankle support. I will be purchasing another pair of Clifton's instead.

I like the way they look. They seem well made, but I tried them and they were too big.

I think I would have liked these but they were a little too big. I felt like my foot was moving around too much in them.

Shoes felt great and comfortable from the start. Unfortunately, after about 6 months the cloth in the heels wore out and started giving me blisters.

I love HOKA shoes and I have purchased the Arahi before but the new Arahi are not as cushioned as the first version.

The shoes are used primarily for walking and for working out on an elliptical machine. Hopefully they will conform to my foot. Otherwise, they are not sized correctly. I ordered extra wide, which on prior Hoka shoes was very adequate. This pair simply doesn't fit so well. They look great and seem to be well made, just not what I'm used to from Hoka!

I deliver medical supplies through a hospital and average 5 miles each 8 hour shift. Im I'm my feet for 7.5 hours. It's hard to find someone in this hospital not wearing Hoka. They are the primary shoe. I currently wear 2 year old Reebok steel toe athletic work shoes. My feet hurt so bad in the Hoka shoes. I could hardly stand still to stock shelves. Walking was not as bad but they felt odd. The soles are the typical trend foam. Foam is horrible for feet. So I went back to my old Reebok's. I'll order new ones. I was disappointed Hoka didn't work out. Seems to be more casual than legitimate work shoes

The shoe is too narrow for me and doesn't help with my plantar fasciitis and Achilles Tendonitis.

I was excited to get this for my husband but he was underwhelmed. They didn’t have much shape and kind of just look like two gray rectangles on his feet. And this particular style, the outer part of the inside of the shoe was pushing his foot in which I’ve heard from other reviews. Perhaps a style it’s for people with supination.

My purchase was a Christmas gift to my son, who is in Med school. Unfortunately, I need to return them because they weren't as comfortable as he had hoped they would be.

For me the Hoka ARAHI 6 is not nearly comfortable as my previous pair of ARAHI 5. I had hoped they would become more comfortable with time but even after wearing frequently for nearly 5 weeks, they still feel tight and almost stiff. If I could find a pair of ARAHI 5 in my size I would buy them in a heart beat.

Nice fit. The cushion that was supposedly part of the design was not there. Another make is much better.

These are just ok. Not near as comfortable as the previous version 5. The bounce back on the forefoot is minimal. These also seem tighter across the top of the foot.

I needed a size 11 EE in the Hoka Arahi 6 shoe. However, both Zappo and Hoka (direct) did NOT have that width in the black/white version of the shoe. So, some manufacturing overseer is failing to comprehend the demand for the wider width shoe version. As a result, I had to purchase a size 11.5 D to compensate for your lack of inventory. The shoe is too long, but at lease it doesn't cramp my feet like a size 11 D.
I'd also recommend:
Nike or Sketcher

I am wearing it at work (my third pair in the past 2 years) since it’s extremely comfortable for walking around. Unfortunately this is the first pair that I had a bad experience with, the inside material near the Achilles’ tendon area ripped, and there is now a 5 mm hole and making it uncomfortable to wear. The pair that lasted the least by far (three months !!!)

I've had several pairs of Hokas over the years and wore them for casual, leisurely walking. Recently I've taken up more serious walking where I do 4 miles or more per day. It's resulted in a bruised toenail and a realization that I need bigger and wider shoes for my exercise. Unfortunately after two weeks of walking in these, my knees hurt and I've had an unusual amount of leg cramping while walking. I've also had more soreness in my legs after my walks, which could be a result of the cramping but I think something about the shoe itself. Maybe my feet sit too flat in it? I just ordered a pair of Bondis because they're familiar for me, and maybe down the line I'll try out the newer models of Speedgoat even though they sound more narrow than ever. (My all time favorite Hokas were an old Speedgoat model.) I wish the Sky Toa was still made because for some reason those had worked well for my walking until the runner's toe. Hoka, we love you but sometimes you really do fix what ISN'T broken!

I loved my Hoka shoes, they were so comfortable and very supportive for my back and knees. But they were not very durable, within a few months the fabric tore some how, not because of abuse but I feel like it was poor craftsmanship making the shoe, hopefully they will make it right.
