Shoes are extremely difficult to put on ( I am an older person with back issues) Shoes are comfortable for several hours, but begin to feel uncomfortable after longer wear time, hard to walk in them then Light color (only available) will no doubt make the shoes look dirty before their time (why not a darker gray instead of silver/) Podiatrist recommended, but I am very disappointed, paid a premium price

I like the shoes but not as comfy as the Mach 5 or Clifton 8 and 9

I have had a pair of Hokas for over 10 years. I fell in love with them but when I bought this style although it was a D, it was too tight. The shoes seem to be more narrow and doesn't even look wide. It's pretty but uncomfortable.

Ordered a 9 wide - felt like an 11.5 Frustrating the sizing is so different on the different style of shoes.

These had a similar fit to my Arahi 4 and were far lighter than that model. I wanted to like the 6, however the shoe runs extreme narrow, and the inner arch of my would get very irritated even when walking. Unfortunately I've heard of others having the same issue.

I love Arahi's but the sizing is off I tried the men's size hoping it ran a little larger but not enough so back they go. The good thing is I love the new Gaviota so I'll wear those!
I'd also recommend:
Brooks are ok not as comfortable

The left shoe is perfect. The right shoe is more shallow 1-2cm more shallow from the mid-foot to the heel. The manufaturer'd defect is probably a fluke. This is my 6th pair of Hoka shoes and the first time this has been an issue. I will be returning/exchanging for a new pair.

These shoes felt great on my feet !! Unfortunately I had to send back to get them replaced, due to a defect in the sole on one shoe. It separated from the shoe on one of the outside corners. I had only worn the shoe 3 days to work when I noticed. Customer service was great in resolving this issue. Waiting for my new pair to arrive

Great Hoka shoe as always but the wide width feels narrower than the other 3 wide width Hokas I have.

Rubber sole on this shoe is much harder than the previous 5 version. Also, tongue is too short and strings are too short. Generally, the 6 is less comfortable than the 5. Shoe fits tight.

I have overpornation and I was experincing some foot discomfort as a result of the condition. I A podiatrist advised me that I could stand to benefit from this style and brand of shoe. From the initial try on I notice a big difference in the overpornation , however after about a hour I started experiencing pain in my foot , shins lower back and legs , nevertheless I kept wearing the shoe thinking maybe I need to break them in , after about 3 weeks the pain level only intensified at that point i , had no choice but to submit a claim for a return I give this shoe a 3 rating because it does assist with some of the overpornation, however it left me in a excruciating pain its certainly not a great work shoe especially if you stand for a certain duration time because the pain only becomes more intense, I really wanted to this shoe to work now im back to square one

Good shoe, my second pair from them. Way lighter than my first and fits well. The insoles have an odd fit to them, the edges actual began to irritate the bottom of the inside of my foot on longer walks or runs.

The tongue has to be pulled up often and the laces have to be double knotted. This was my first hoka purchase and I use theses for refereeing soccer. Looking for something to alternate with my ultra boost.

I bought and tried a pair of Arahi 6's for my overpronation due to anatomically flat feet (not collapsed arches). I did not expect the arch support / post to be so prominent as to feel like I'm stepping on a stone on each step. What would fix this issue would be to clearly specify that this line is for collapsed arches rather than anatomically flat feet. I'm giving it a neutral 3-star rating since I can't say that it's good or bad, just not meant for a specific type of wearer.

I love the shoe. Both comfort and fit. But after a couple of weeks the left shoe has developed a loud squeak. Doesn't matter the surface. If it wasn't for that, I'd be happy.

I got serious into distance walking following a hernia surgery where I could not go to the gym for nearly a year. Even after returning to the gym, I still frequently walk outdoors, as per my research, frequent walking is overall better for you than running. Using regular athletic shoes and sneakers brought me foot and leg pain and I realized I needed a specialized shoe. Hoka came highly recommended so I got this pair. By far, they were the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn and provided impeccable support for walking. I no longer experienced foot and leg pain anymore as I had with my other shoes. All that said, it's rather heart-breaking that these shoes degraded at the speed of light. Within a few months they had serious signs of wear, including holes and tears. I hadn't done anything more than regular walking and after three months they looked like I'd worn them every day for 3 years. I love shoes and probably own close to a hundred pairs, and I have never seen this degree of wear in any shoe. Most of my shoes I've had for years. It was astonishing! So it's a wonderful shoe, but I don't know if they're worth it if they don't last more than a few months. For a shoe that's designed for increased use such as running, one would think they'd be more solidly constructed. I've gone through the reviews and this seems to be a common complaint people noticing astonishingly quick wear. It doesn't appear Hoka has addressed such a serious issue about their product. They offer to have the shoes sent back in to see if a replacement is warranted, but if they deem they're not unusually worn (which they'd likely do in the interest of their profits honestly), you're out of luck. This is really frustrating because they're so great, but the experience is unreasonably short-lived. I am giving the brand one last chance with the purchase of two different models of shoe, but if I experience the same issue, I will not be using this brand again

Looks like a good shoe but I totally over pronate and they were a little more light weight and without the fortified toe front they were a little less substantial than an older pair about two years ago in this cool green that were unbelievably phenomenal also hoka since I never had a shoe that great I guess I set the bar much higher

Synthetic material used to enclose foam at back of heel, wearing thru at less than a month of wear. Foam exposed, raw edges of wear spots upsetting for such a pricy shoe. Arch support less than expected. Would not buy again.
