This shoe is beautiful. Unfortunately, the AAA is not the narrow size I was hoping for. I own some 9 AAA Trotters from 10 years ago and they are a true narrow. The shoe manufacturers seem to not understand the need for really narrow shoes! If anyone has any suggestions for a current shoe that is truly narrow, I am all ears. I prefer sling backs if any of you remember the popular Ferragamo style from years ago. Maybe Zappo's huge customer base or Zappo's staff can help me out. The Zappo's staff has always been wonderful. These shoes are really nice, but have to go back.

Lovely shoe, and very comfortable. The sling back helped to keep my narrow heel from slipping in the medium width. However, I am a true size 8.5 to 9, and the size 9 in this shoe was much too short. I'm not even sure the 9.5 would fit me.

I bought this after looking at the reviews.They run smaller than usual. I always wear 7.5 but this one is too tight. It feels comfortable with the cushioning inside. The stitch on the shoe is not well finished. Pricey for the quality offered. Sorry have to return it.

My requirements, comfortable enough to run through airports, stylish enough to wear into business meetings. I've had good luck with Trotters. But not these. Design compresses the big toe from the top. Very uncomfortable. Being returned.

I ordered these shoes because of the reviews on toe roominess & that was fine but there rubbing at the ball of my foot where shoes don't normally rub on me. returning.

Felt too small by at least a half size. It is also narrower than a typical shoe, may need to get a wide. Also as soon as I took a step, a wrinkle appeared on the shoe that made it look worn down, even before I walked in them outside! Very cute shoe, but going back.

I love the look of these shoes, but after wearing them for a few hours at a wedding my feet were not terribly happy. I'm so sorry to write this, as I clearly can't return them now that I've worn them outdoors. I wouldn't purchase Trotters again.

This is an ugly shoe. The fabric is of some indeterminate type and was a shiny silver like color rather than the muted grey in the video and the photo. The shoe itself look inelegant with its pug like design. Very unattractive shoe. I will not be buying this brand ever again.

Shoes look nice, but might be the most uncomfortable shoes I ever owned. I wore them to a wedding. By the end of the evening I couldn't even walk my feet hurt so much! They are fine if you are just going to sit and not walk!

This shoe does not work at all for me and I don't even have to think about it. Received today and am returning tomorrow. I am a true 8M. Pros, the shoe was fine in length and in the fit of the toe box. Nice color combination. Great heel height for me. Cons are the shoe had very loose sloppy fit from the open part of the shoe all the way back to the loose heel strap. Fit me like a wide width, except in the toe box. Also, the right shoe was constructed improperly-- the upper had been assembled onto the sole in a crooked way so that the upper turned inward at an ugly angle when I tried it on. Left shoe was not flawed in this fashion. This style has a rather cheap look to it in person-- it's leather, but does not have the look of a quality leather shoe. I love Zappos, and though I am scratching Trotters from my list of brands to try, I will be searching for a similar low heeled style to order.

Noticeably smaller than stated size - Tried these on and they felt too small. Held them up next to my other size 8 shoes and they are noticeably smaller. Also, there is a defect in the seam at the outside toe on the left shoe. The cut of the vamp was not flattering on my foot.

I am returning the shoes as they are much too narrow. I ordered an 8WW and the shoes look like an 8N. Very disappointed.

I love the shoes, and the way they fit. However, both of the shoes have damage on the back of them. I needed them for a party today; so unfortunately I don't have time to reorder. Pretty disappointing!

Comfortable but ugly, and poorly cut so the leather gaps at the sides of my foot. Back they go.

I normally wear a 9M and these were too big. They fell off my feet even though I adjusted the back strap. They just flapped on my feet - I think even a smaller size would have flapped due to the design. Very cute so I was hoping they'd work but they don't

Though the shoes are nice looking and they are wide enough for my feet; they are one of the most uncomfortable pair of shoes that I have ever worn . I wore them one time, and probably never wear them again. If possible I would like to return them. Please advise.

The heel strap slipped off. I ordered both the black and the navy and had the same experience with both. I made the strap tighter by adding a hole and it still fell off. So disappointed.

Unfortunately, these shoes weren't comfortable at all and they felt like standing/walking on a rock and the width was narrow, too. Reading through the reviews sounded like these shoes were very comfortable, but in my experience I was very disappointed in the sizing, lack of comfort and quality of the shoe. They are an attractive shoe, but very uncomfortable.

I ordered extra wide (WW, or EE) on this shoe, and it just felt like a regular medium. I can't imagine how narrow their regular shoes must be.

DO NOT BUY THIS SHOE. The strap is flimsy and slides off (no amount of adjusting the length matters). This means essentially, that you'll be stopping every few steps to pull the strap back on your heel. It did this to me within the first hour. Additionally, the heel bottom popped off the first day. Very cheaply made for the price they're charging.

Size on this show, and possibly the brand, is extremely inconsistent. No matter how much I tightened the strap, one shoe slipped and flapped. Ordered the EXACT same pair from the manufacturer direct and had similar problems, although the shoes were tighter.

Beautiful, dressy shoe but fit is very poor. I have skinny feet and this shoe did not have a narrow fit--I walked right out of the shoe!

The strap is loose. The "wide toe box" pinched my toes. THe sole of the heel would slap the bottom of my foot when I walked.
