Pretty shoes but deceptive sizing (disappointed Zappos doesn't do a better job at guaranteeing sizing). The EE is not an EE, more like a D.

Deceptive sizing. The 8.5 EE is only 3.25 wide as opposed to Munro and Softspots' 3.75 wide. Should not be sold as EE.

Very comfortable shoe right from the start, but leather is very thin and toe section is already peeling after only a few times wearing these.

These shoes seems to run small for me. I am returning the size 7 and ordering a 7.5 or 8. My toes are pushed into the toe box too tightly.

The shoe looked better online than in reality. It does fit somewhat bigger than the size. It is comfortable, but I would not walk into a store and pay that amount for it.

wide shoe is still narrow - Ordered the wide size, and it was tight when i tried it on out of the box. Will be returning. Too bad, because it is a cute-looking shoe!

Dea review - The shoe runs slightly small in length, but has a great look. It has a very comfortable heel height. My problem was the toe box. It slopped downward too much and the top of my big toe rubbed on it which hurt quite a bit. Also, there was a very small amount of arch support.

Too narrow - I wear a 12 medium and the midportion of the foot bed was too narrow for my foot. Shoes did not accommodate my Good Feet dress orthotics.

Dea, Dea - Order larger and wider than you would normally buy. Nice coloring on the gold shoe. Muted gold, not that cheap shiny look.

Frumpy looking - I have shoes by Trotters and find them plain but comfortable. But as soon as I took these out of the box, I thought "ugh." I tried the two tone, black patent with white. They are frumpy looking and the top stitching, along the gore, shows.

Cute shoe, but one shoe was very lose in back end, even with the strap on it's shortest setting. It could be tightened probably by punching another hole in strap, but there also, for me, not enough support. Will be returning this pair.

I am so sorry that these size 9S(AAA) were not the truly narrow shoes that I have purchased in the past. I own a pair of Trotters that are at least 10 years old and that 9S(AAA) really works. I have found this to be a problem with many shoe manufacturers today. I did find one pair of Munro Americans that were actually narrow enough, but unfortunately the shoe was too matronly for me. I keep trying!

These are well made shoes but they just hit my foot in the wrong places and were uncomfortable. I have one wide left foot and the right is a little shorter. I am forced into sling back or mule style dressy shoes, Lace up shoes are nearly as problematic. Thank heavens for Zappos!

Loved the shoe. Very comfortable...however...only wore occasionally and after 2 years and only about 20 wearings the strap broke. need to make these more durable. Will try to find a similar pair from another vendor that holds up better.

Very tight around the toes.

I bought my normal size but it was small. Felt tight around the vamp. Had to send back.

I normally wear a 7.5 and ordered 7.5 wide because I have found this style runs narrow in toe. My feet swam in these shoes. They ran very long. The width was ok but the toe box was very shallow and was not comfortable against my toes . I did not exchange for better size because of the shallow toe box and the fact that the quilting was frayed all over . Quality was poor.

The fit is fine but a little too wide. The shoe is so wide the sides started getting scuff marks from the ground. Bottom sole needs to be wider to go with the top sides.

I will probably have to send them back. They hurt my feet. I will try to walk around the house to see if they get more comfortable, but it’s discouraging to read the positive reviews and find that they are not comfortable at least in the beginning when I put them on.

These are nice looking, but are sized at least 1/2 size smaller than marked.

I want to add to my earlier review. The left shoe looked a little defective. The strap looked bent, and the seam on the top of of the left shoe looked like it was opening.

I got the black with black patent toe. These felt narrow in what there was of a toe box, and too short. That's saying something, because I got an 8 and can wear a 7-1/2 in most brands. And frankly, they just looked and felt cheap. I don't mind paying $100 for a good shoe, but these were definitely not worth $100.

Yes, did slap the back of my heel when walking like a flip-flop. Seemed comfortable enough, but isn't my style of shoe. Wanted to like them, but must return.
