It works great keeping dirt on boots and shoes from tracking in but am disappointed that white dog hair is very difficult if not impossible to vacuum from it.

Great product but this one is awfully small. I'm sending it back for a medium size. Hopefully there IS a medium. I have the large one inside the door.

This mat is noticeably thinner and less substantial than Waterhog mats I have purchased in the past. The black backing is thinner, the foundation carpet is thinner, and there is much less raised pile in the tree design than in the older leaf designs. It seems about the same quality as less expensive mats from big-box stores.

Although small & attractive, the material this floor mat is made of is very "sticky" in that it holds dust & debris, so that it is hard to clean off.

Although the floor mat is attractive, and the right size for my space, the material it is made of is difficult to clean by vacuum, shaking, etc. The textured fabric has grooves, and is sticky, and holds the dust, making it a pain to clean. It always looks dusty, with dust embedded in it.

We have purchased these mats in the past and have them near our pool to protect feet on the concrete deck and stairs. They were great! This new version is much thinner, but more importantly, they don't stay in place, as the last ones did. We have to continuously be moving these back in place. Why are these SO different LL Bean?? These are not cheap! Would not recommend these for pool area use. Need to find others that stay in place.

Too thin for the price dont waste your money

The mat is thin and doesn't stay in place. It moves around when there is minimum foot traffic.

I ordered this for the front door inside to wipe feet before entering. It is very small for the $30 price, not what I expected. I would return but do not want to pay the shipping on a gift card that I have already had 2 returns.

I have LlBean waterhog doormats throughout my home in the Adirondacks and I love them. These tree doormats don't come close to the effectiveness of my other mats purchased last year. They don't match the picture. I am disappointed and would not recommend. I am not currently there or I would send a photo.

Not sure what on earth you could even use the small one for but the medium doesn't even fit the front door, the sizing is off and it's way too expensive for the size.

I received a rug that was the wrong size and print. It was supposed to be the tree print in a rectangular size and instead I received a longer runner rug. It was packed and wrapped as a Christmas gift before it was opened and it was needed immediately at the place it was opened. Very frustrating!

I bought this and have used it for 3 months. It is wearing terribly---I don't expect this from L. L. Bean.

Unwieldy size. Huge difference between large and medium. Very much need something in between the two.

First was disappointed that the tree pattern wore down after about 6 months and could no longer be seen. We are only two people in an NYC apartment so the foot traffic is not as high as some families. So this was unexpected. We would have ignored that but we also discovered that dog hair really gets worked in between the fibers, even with frequent vacuuming. I bought a different vacuum, tried a rubber rake-style broom, to no avail. Hair doesn't rinse out and I was not about to be plucking hair out of it with my bare hands constantly. I rolled it up and placed it in a closet before company came one day and forgot about it. I missed the 1 year deadline for the return, so we are likely just tossing this. It did keep our floor dry and mud rinsed out easily. Just would not recommend for homes with shedding dogs.

I bought 2 of these mats in different sizes. They are very pretty at first, but the trees quickly get flattened down. After a month or so of normal use the trees are barely visible and it's a drab mat. They also do not stay put and slide around. Very disappointed, especially for the price.

The doormat slides and does not stay put. For the price it should stay in place.

Water collects on mat

This rug does not absorb water. After rain, wipping shoes on this rug, my floors were still tracked with water.
