I have the same mat from 11 years ago. The new version is notably thinner, as in less clearance between the plastic airspace "spikes" on the backside and the floor beneath. This works well for me, as clearance was an issue using this by a door with a shallow threshold. Hopefully it holds up to as much abuse as the previous model. As a bonus, the cats love scratching it - hopefully more than other fabrics.

The color appears more muted in the photograph it is a much brighter royal blue.

Stays in place - no moving or sliding. Thick, but doesn't restrict the door from opening so it can be placed right up at the threshold. Traps dirt and water well which is resulting in cleaner floors. Bought 3 of them within 2 weeks. Would give 5 stars, but would like more size options.

I'm sure this is going to be a superior rug! However, it is much darker than it looked on the screen. When it arrived, I thought it was rolled inside out since it looked almost black.

This mat looks wonderful at my front door, good quality, attractive, lovely shade of green. One star off as it does show the dirt to some extent and needs to be shaken out periodically.

They're great and we love them but they didn't come at the same time....why?

It is very attractive on several different surfaces- carpet, tile, and wood.

Love the look, and while we haven't had to test its "waterhogness" yet, it looks up to the job. The only drawback is that it's a bit rough on bare feet - not unbearable, but not very soft at all.

We ordered several brown tree mats. We bought 6 mats. I wanted new mats to put down on our new floors. We did a big renovation and I wanted all the same kind of mats. They are great but I have only had them down 2 days but I think they will be fine. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I am concerned about the mats leaving a mark-not indentations but a faded part where the mat lays. I'm not describing it well.... They look great and the color is perfect to go with the floors.

I ordered this to fill in a small area of bare hardwood so that my racing rambunctious cat did not scratch the floor. The color of the blue is 2 shades darker than the larger carpet of the same make that was also ordered from LLBean a while back. The two colors of blue look like they are mismatched and are unattractive net to one another.

Love this mat! Super great quality at a very reasonable price. It is durable for my three boys and very easy to clean. Highly recommend this gem.

Everything about this mat is great, like just about all of their products, except one thing . . . a person should be able to choose which way the design runs. I ordered a 3x5 (approx.) to use lengthwise, so, instead of looking at pine trees I'm looking at arrows. Just sayin'.

I would give this a 5-star review because it is so pretty and nicely lightweight, making it easy to pick up for sweeping, etc. I am using it as an outdoor front door mat. It has gotten quite soggy when it rains, however. Since that doesn't happen very often in California (unfortunately), I can deal with that issue.

I like the size, color and design of this doormat. So far it seems to be catching dirt and snow nicely. I was able to purchase it with Bean Bucks, otherwise I doubt I'd spend $100 on a doormat like this, but maybe I'm not 'up on' doormat costs.

I ordered two of the small mats. They are beautiful, I love the color, and they look very sturdy and well made. The size dimensions are wrong. Instead of 18"x27" as advertised they are actually 17"x28". Which is minor but does make a difference in how they fit and look in the space. Otherwisenice rugs. I wish I could custom order a size!

It lays flat, does not slide on my vinyl floor, not a trip hazard. Love the design, feels strong to wipe shoes on. No snow yet but bet it will preform quite well.

I bit smaller than I thought. I should have paid attention to the size.

I had hoped to match the green rug I purchased a few years ago for a doorway area, and planned to put the new one outside that sliding glass door. However the new one is a green with blue in it, so they don't match. Will have to return. But I like these rugs and have purchased several over the years.

Feel a little cheated in that this rug is smaller than the stated measurements by an inch. Was told that they were aware of inaccurate measuement but no changes were being made. Would have expected better response and a make it right. If i want bigger size I have to return it and order a more expensive bigger size.

I've had a few waterhog mats that have lasted many years, but this one is not up to the standard of the original mats. Probably because of the recycling, it's thinner and doesn't have the quality I had hoped for

I thought it would be heavier. Doesn't really stay put in the porch

I have ordered Waterhog doormats repeatedly to be given as housewarming gifts. Who can't use one? I ordered a green evergreen mat but a blue one was delivered. We kept it but instead of being the lovely color-coordinated gift I had envisioned, it is merely good enough.

Was expecting a little more. Looks very plain, really ugly. Won't buy another one.
