I think it works? Lots of sand and mess comes out when I clean it, but it slides all over the floor and I have to put it back in place after each time we use the door it's by. Maybe more of a hassle than it's worth?

I've many Water Hog mats & never been disappointed with color or durability. I currently have blues, reds, 2 different browns in all sizes & shapes. However, this one (small Pine Trees) in "Evergreen" color is really bland & dull. Barely able to see any green & the texture is odd with about half of the fibers being white. Got it for Fall & Christmas colors on a porch. Almost grey. A surprise, compared to all the other colors. The weird texture doesn't seem right either. If you are looking for a really green, this isn't it.

I got two of the tree pattern and each one has had lots of traffic on them and the pattern is almost completely gone. They are easy to clean and the color lasts just wish they cool pattern would stay. Pine needles tend to stay stuck in them.

I bought the Camel color mat in medium size, the color came out really dull. Doesn't look new at all. I wish I got a different color, brighter. Don't buy the camel color. Looks like an old beatup mat.

Very difficult to clean. Seeds, tiny rocks get stuck in the pile and even when shaken and vacuumed are difficult to totally remove. And if you have a pet and they get sick while out, the door mat will hang on the to the accident. Pretty to look at. Removes plain snow well.

Nothing wrong with them, but they are just average door/floor mats

Nice rug. I just can't use it because it's too small for our space even though I ordered size large. It took a month to be delivered so I'm not even going to hassle with returning it.

Nice mat. Way overpriced. They last a long time, but are not worth the cost. LL Bean has gone downhill a lot in the last few years. They once had a good warranty. No more.

This jacket is warmer than the older version of fitness fleece, of which I have many. Also, the zipper is a man's zipper (starting from the right instead of the left) which is annoying to keep remembering.

Not the same quality as my other llbean floor mat. Went for this one for size. A little disappointed but it will do. And I know that llbean will stand behind product if it doesn't wear well!

It doesn't have the same grip on the bottom like the old ones did. It moves all over my carpet.

very thin mat - not sure it will hold up to the winter snow.....time will tell, but I am not impressed with the weight of this mat.

i have four of these. All is well except there is no non-slip or non-skid backing and they travel all over the floor, especially with dogs coming in and out. If I tape them down, I can't shake them out. thus the three-star rating.

Shows lots of dirt and leaf particles, never looks clean. Hard to sweep off. Pretty, but not a showstopper. Would not purchase again.

The mat looks small on my outside steps. Should have bought the next size for 10.00 more.
The mat in the blue color looks duller than the picture, so the trees cannot be appreciated.

The product is simply not worth the price paid. Almost $40 tor a small floor mat. I expected more. I do not appreciate tht it absorbs water. When I come inside from wet conditions and wipe my feet then step off onto my hardwood floor, I still have enough water left to notice on the floor. I will keep this mat, but I am disappointed in the performance and price.

These do not compare to Waterhog doormats. These have that awful cheap rubber smell and they have been scrubbed with detergents and and soaked and left outside for five days hoping that we can get the smell out. I gave a rating of two only because the pattern is nice andI needed a color very close to another mat I bought from LLBean quire a number of years ago.

I have always ordered the small size in Waterhog mats and so perhaps it is my fault for not reviewing the specs before clicking on "Small." But I was shocked to see how tiny this mat was. The price was not tiny, however, and it does seem to be less sturdy than my previous mats so I don't consider this a good value. I have now looked at all Waterhog mat measurements and find there is no consistency across all the variations. Some versions don't even offer a "Small" size. This mat should be labeled "Teeny Tiny" or "Extra Small." For reference, I'm a tiny person, but the mat will barely accommodate me and my clunky snow boots.

I had two mats but one was damaged by our puppy so ordered another. The new mat is not like the ones I bought 3 yrs ago. The new one is loosely woven and has a kind of a fuzzy look to it which gets worse each time it's vacuumed. I have to go over it several times to get it clean. This is not the case with the mat I bought 3 years ago. Disappointed in the quality of items I've bought this past 2 yrs.

Disappointed that the edge is sloppily cut. I would have returned it but it would be a pain to repack and send back.

I purchased this to go with a previously purchased Evergreen runner and stair treads. The color doesn't match. It is much bluer. There is no point in returning it as I need it to go with the others. Your quality control is very poor. Also, there are a lot of whitish threads in all the pieces which detract from the appearance.

I have 3 other LL Bean waterhog doormats, all purchased in the past few years, and have been very pleased with them all. This recent purchase of the mat with the 'trees' design is a disappointment. First of all, the mat is somewhat thinner than any of my other mats. The topside material in the design is seemingly of a looser weave and there is less of it on the surface of the mat. Perhaps the tree design has something to do with that, but it shouldn't. The backing seems thinner, too, and the mat is definitely lighter weight when compared to my older mats. The Evergreen color is different from my other Evergreen mat. They are in the same entry room by different doors, so the difference is not as noticeable as it would have been had they been placed closer together. This new one is a bluer green. For the price of these mats, $40, I can't say I'm very happy with this last purchase. From what other reviewers say about it, I'm not expecting this mat to wear as well as my older mats have, which is disappointing. I'm sorry LLBean has evidently gone to a cheaper version of a formerly very good product.
