We had been looking for a log carrier that looked attractive as well as one that kept bark and debris from falling off as wood was brought into the house. This carrier meets both of our requirements admirably. Easily holds 8-10 logs. Sturdy construction and nice shape.

Very pleased with the purchase. Good quality and looks great. It's a little pricier than it should be, but I knew what I was doing before I pulled the trigger.

We needed a good carrier to bring small bundles of wood into the house from our larger stacks. After having several cheaper ones that were difficult to carry, dropped debris all over the floor and fell apart, I decided to spend a little extra and try this out. When I first opened the package, I thought, "I can't believe how nice this is." A pleasant surprise was also it was larger than I expected. I immediately went out to carry some wood in. This is large enough to fit a nice bundle of wood, comfortable to carry, and doesn't drop debris all over the floor as you bring wood in. The waxed canvas seems really rugged & the leather handles make it comfortable to carry with a load of wood in it. Money well spent.

Absolutely fabulous. Really well made, large enough for good-sized logs. Squares off so you can set it down and it will remain upright and open. Very sturdy and even attractive. Love it!

Bag is well made and a good size. I returned because instead of charcoal it was a purple grey.

Great size and style. Just disappointed in the color. The description said the color is gray but it's more purplish than gray. Otherwise a great carrier so far.

Solid construction, and very utilitarian but not so much that it looks simple. The bag is easy to hold and carries a good amount of logs. Happy I purchased it.

This is pretty much what I was looking for. Easy to carry and neater than just carrying the wood. Wish the gray was darker. Also the ends tend to fold in so I have to keep working around that. But I like the canvas and leather.

Good product. Thought the sides would be a little more structured as they are in the photos. So far it is sturdy and works well.

Very nice carrier! I love the color and size! Large enough for a good size load.

Only drawback is it holds lots of debris too . Much harder to shake out the dregs than the simple one sheet leather carrier with handles. Don't see any real advantage over simpler design.

This is a great help for bringing in the fire food. Very well made.

Bought it for my son. He really likes it and said it can hold a good amount of wood.

This is a nice log carrier of good quality. It was a nice Christmas gift for my husband. My only complaint is that the charcoal canvas is not a neutral gray, but has a blue undertone. Beyond that it is fine.

Although I have only had this product for a short time and cannot give it the kind of review that it fully deserves, I will give my impression so far. It looks good. I am particularly impressed with the leather handles. They stay out of the way when loading and provide excellent comfort while carrying. The waxed finish provides water proofing plus it aids in keeping the carrier open for loading. While both of these features add to the weight, I find that the advantages far outweigh the small liability.

It does a great job transporting firewood. When fully loaded, the carrier looks something like the photo (but the photo is staged and it will never look like the photo). It starts to look like a wet blanked as it starts to empty. It's not something to leave out for decoration, unless you keep it fully loaded. I would only recommend with caution.

Bought as a Christmas present for my dad, he loves his log purse! It was used all winter everyday and it is showing no signs of wear.

It's sturdy for sure. A little heavy by itself, let alone with wood in it. I like that it is "box-like" with sides since I carry small kindling in with the larger pieces.

It is nice but I was hoping it would be more lightweight! I was trying to carry four logs instead of two into my house but this log carrier didn't help! I would recommend it for a stronger, younger person!

My first carrier arrived and was ripped at the seam. I reordered and the second one seems fine.

Appears to be well made. I like that the sides are boxed-in to hold scraps and debris in the sack vs an open wood carrier. Initial quality appears to be good; we'll see in the long term if the handles hold up to seasons of wood transport.

Bought last winter and obviously only used during last years winter months of 2021 and we are just starting end of November 2021 and starting using and the ends have already ripped and metal rod sticking out and we had to take out so did not jam into one of our legs! Will be contacting L.L. Bean I feel their quality of items, same with their slippers I buy every year, have really started to come down but certainly no change in prices!

We had the same issues with the wire poking out from the sides of the bag. We did get a full year out of ours. I have decided to get another style this year. I liked the look of the waxed canvas but it was not very practical.
