This log carrier is a life saver. Makes hauling firewood from the wood pile simple and easy. Leather handles are very comfortable.

This is one heavy duty log carrier. Had helped me carry twice the amount of logs from the backyard to the house. Very happy to have such a well made canvas bag!!

In the past three years I have bought three of these: two for personal use with two different fireplaces, and one as a gift. The carriers are not only rugged but even handsome in a rustic way. I especially like the covered ends so that scraps do not fall out all over the floor. The product is well sewn and able to withstand regular use. I highly recommend this carrier!

My husband spotted this and thought it looked like it might be good to bring in more wood than he can carry after having double shoulder replacement. He was right with the added bonus of having a lot less mess. He empties out the loose bits when he goes out and comes in with wood. We had a wood holder which, I disliked and is now gone. Super happy with this wood carrier. I don't know how long it will hold up but that review is for another day. For the moment we are enjoying its usefulness. Incidentally, our house is solely heated by wood so we go through a lot of wood on a daily basis.

Works as advertised. Very high quality as you would expect from LL Bean.

I wish I'd bought this years ago. It lets me carry at least twice as many as logs at a time than I could under my arm, and with no bark stuck to my shirt. Also, when I set it on the floor to unload, any leaves, bark bits and other debris stay in the carrier. When the carrier is unloaded, I can just dump the debris outside. No mess on the floor. The handles have plenty of padding. The stitching and other construction seem solid -- typical L.L. Bean quality. Some reviewers said they prefer the Dura-Tough Standing Log Carrier because the sides stand up. I don't mind that this model flops open. I pile in the logs, and even with the sides flopped over, the pile has never spilled out. Plus, it doesn't flop completely open flat due to the ends. Pricey but highly recommended, especially if you can get it when L.L. Bean is running a 20% or 25% discount promo.

I loved this log carrier. Classic design, high quality. I got it in tan, and it was just beautiful. I had to return it because it was a gift for my parents, and there wasn't quite enough room for it in their living room, but I would absolutely recommend it.

Very impressed with the durability of this carrier. The canvas is canvasy, soft and flexible. The leather handles are leathery and great for grabbing and lifting. I've been loading this up with logs and carrying them into my home, it's been great. Would highly recommend, and buy again. However I feel that this will last a lifetime so there is no need for me to buy again, unless I want a carrier for each hand, which may help with balance and also eliminate the need for a gym membership, saving me about $120 per month.

I'm very happy with this log carrier. It's strong, attractive, and light weight. I can't think of a thing I would change about it. Highly recommended!

A strong durable wood carrying bag. Solidly constructed...sturdy handles...good capacity...able to carry nice sized firewood...

Easy to carry and comfortable. The size is just right for a load that is doable. We loved ours so much, we just ordered one for my parents for Christmas.

I should have purchased this a long time ago, cuts down on debris when bringing firewood in the house.

Bought this for my husband's birthday and had it monogrammed for him. It was a great purchase, of course great quality and I plan to buy two more this xmas for my dad and father-in-law!

I have waited to send in my review until after having a chance to use this item. Fire season started over a month ago so now I have some experience with this log carrier. It performs as advertised. This log carrier is easy to loan and unload. It carries a good amount of wood, and it helps keep down the small pieces of wood that always end up on the floor. While I cannot comment to its longevity, I can say that it is standing up to doing its job without showing any wear. My one suggestion would be to make the stiff sides a little taller.

They are for Christmas presents for the men in my life who work hard to bring in the wood on those cold nights for a warm fire!

This log carrier is large enough to hold logs for 2 evenings and still not be too heavy to lift. In brief, it's just right!

The carrier is very sturdy and holds as much wood as one wants to carry. I replaced an older floppier cloth type carrier with canvas strap handles. This looks like an excellent choice for me.
