The bed itself and cover are great the issue, the cover is not water proof so if your dog has an accident theres no way to properly clean. The foam rips and tears.

The bed insert is very comfortable. I've slept on it with my senior dog. The cover however shrinks in the wash making it extremely difficult to get back on after frequent laundering. I wish there were other material options for the cover.

Our dog did not find the bed comfortable. We found the bed very stiff.

My dogs loooove these beds. Very comfortable for my big, heavy Great Danes. With that said, if you ever want to take off the cover to wash (which you definitely should be doing) then I can't really recommend this bed. It's sooooo hard to get the cover back on. I literally break a sweat trying to shove the foam back into the cover. I think the cover needs to be lined with something that glides more easily over the foam. Seriously, it's a beast to get on and I dread it every time.

The denim in this product is excellent. This is my third LL Bean dog bed. However, either the bed is too big or the cover is too small, because every time I wash the cover I have to fight to get it back over the bed. I'm going to have to stop using this combo because I just don't have the strength any more to get it together properly. Even when I do, it takes quite a while to pull at the edges to try to get the bed flat on the floor. Hopefully mine is just a mismatch.

Memory foam came all mashed and lumpy like other complaints. But worse was the big hole in the center of the foam. This bed is too expensive to arrive damaged. I expect better quality from LLBean. Customer service was quick to send out replacement, and as I type it's being shipped to me. But I have my doubts about that, given the quality has already been shown to be substandard. I expect more, and better, from LLBean.

I am very disappointed in the quality of this dog bed. My dog only uses this bed at night and already the memory foam is crumbling to pieces on the inside. I'm afraid to even take the cover off to wash it because the bed is falling apart. Extremely disappointed in LLBean considering how much this costs.

The foam was separate from the cover, not put together. The foam is also too big for the cover.

The memory foam is thick egg shell that would normally be fine, but the canvas cover is the issue. The cover should be about 1/4 inch larger all the way around. It is soooooooo frustrating trying to put the cover on the bed after washing it. The bed, once the cover is on the memory foam, is actually WONDERFUL, but the cover should be larger. I keep a very clean house and wash the dog's bed cover every couple of weeks. This is something I now seriously dread more than anything in my entire life -- sick statement, but true. It is such a battle and could be fixed easily.
