The bed is exactly as advertised. My 4 year old rescue pup who has reconstructed knees and a metal plate where her femur was fractured is very comfortable on it.

This is our forth dog bed from LL Bean. The first was a gift from a neighbor and it was the xtra large with the bumpers and our boxers loved it (the humans too). We rescued a third boxer so we got one for him also, we rescued a forth boxer and found him a new family and sent him to his family with a new LL Bean dog bed and this last purchase was for the back of our truck as it's a better fit without the bumpers. Best dog beds ever and well worth the money. Our first bed was nine years ago and it's still in great shape. We recommend them to all our dog owner friends.

Bernie, our 11 year-old Australian Labradoodle, loves his new bed. It's higher than his old LL Bean bed, so it took a couple of times falling off before he learned how to position himself on it. But once he did, he's very comfortable on it. The bed is well made and the foam fingers support his 75 lbs very well.

I have always purchased the regular premium LL Bean dog beds for all my pups for decades. My last German Shepard, Sammy, just passed in April 2021 at age 11...... I purchased this Therapeutic foam bed for him at age 9 when he started to slow down. He LOVED this bed. He was 102 pounds with bursitis, hip dysplasia, and arthritis...... this bed fully supported him, his joints were cushioned by the foam and he did not sink in to the floor like other cheap " orthopedic beds". I was able to lay on it with him in complete comfort. it still looks and feels brand new 2 years later. I know that bed gave him comfort when his body needed it the most. I purchased the extra large so he could fully stretch out.... PLEASE buy this bed for any senior dog!!! They deserve it !! I miss Sammy and still cry every day, but buying that bed was a great decision. Do not hesitate... it is a quality item. Thank you LL Bean.

I have purchased these dog beds in the past and my dogs have always loved them. They last quite a long time and both the dog and the cat sleep on it.

This is the 2nd time I have purchased this dog bed from LL Bean. The first bed is still as supportive as the 2nd bed. I got the 2nd bed for my newly adopted 8-year old, 120lb, chocolate lab. Both dogs love these dog beds!

My dogs were excited to get this bed. They both like it and shared the XL size nicely. The XL size is big enough for two 80 pound labs or my one 8 pound mean cat.

This bed was not as I had envisioned as I have previously ordered two other beds that I thought were the same. However, once the bed was laid on the floor all three dogs decided it was theirs. The puppy goes directly to the center of the bed and stretches out like she is VERY comfortable; therefore, I can only surmise it is comfortable for them.

I finally found a bed Mia is willing to sleep on instead of mine! Thank you!

My dog loves these beds. I have four in three different rooms for her. The foam is much better than the fiber.

Our 14 year old dog absolutely loves her new bed! She sleeps in our room and will get up at night and get on her new bed. She has hip issues and I'm sure this bed is just heaven for her. I'd definitely recommend this L.L.Bean product. It cleans easily too!

When this first arrived, my pooch wasn't interested in using it. I tried lying on it and encouraging her to join me. She did, but I think she thought I must be up to something because she moved away in short order. I tried getting her onto it and telling her to stay, but she wouldn't stay more than a few minutes. One time, she put her head on it, with the remainder of her body on the floor. Huh. Then I had one of those lightbulb moments! She likes to rearrange her bedding! Not possible with the cover. I dug out an old flannel sheet, folded it loosely, and draped it over the bed. Success!

Both of my dogs love this bed. It is sturdy, supportive, and attractive. It is clearly a quality product, and I expect we will get many years of happy dog usage.

Only had the bed a few months but my 90lb lab loves it. He lays on it all the time. Washes great and hasn't shown any signs of wear and tear. I've even layed on it and couldn't feel the hard floor underneath. I've gone through so may beds over the last year with beds not lasting or holding up to use and washing. Best $$$ I've ever spent for my dog.

I love these beds! More to the point, our dogs have all preferred these beds to anything else we put out for them. The covers are tough enough to resist puppy teeth (and lab puppies are very persistent chewers), and the mattresses offer them support and comfort right through their final years. I wish my own mattress was as comfortable for me as these have been for at least the last 20 years for my dogs. And they last. And last. And last. So I have always found them to be good value, too. I cannot recommend these therapeutic dog beds enough.

My English Bulldog, Crisco, loves her new bed as much as I do! When I ordered it in the XL size, she was a 45 lb puppy, and I'd thought she'd grow into the bed. She's nearly fully grown now at 63 lbs, and the bed is much larger than she needs, but that doesn't effect the quality of this bed in the least. It holds its shape, the material is tough enough to withstand puppy zoomies, and the cover is easy to remove and clean. When I first looked at the bed, I got a bit of sticker shock, but I'd bought so many lesser quality beds in the past for our other dogs and this one came highly recommended by a friend who purchased 2 of these beds 6 years ago for her large labs. Crisco and I couldn't be more happy with this purchase. I feel confident this bed will be the last one I'll have to buy for many years to come!

We bought it to fit the cargo section of our 2016 Subaru Outback ... even though it appears not to be a "standard" size (judging from looking at probably 50 possibilities), this was the only one that,on paper, looked like it would work ... and it did, perfectly! You might publicize this ... good selling point.

Just had some minor medical procedure. Layer down next to my lab on her bed. Slept like a baby. Both of us! Perfect

I bought this for my Mom's 8 year old Shorkie who was having some hip issues and he loves his new bed!

The mattress expanded almost immediately after being unwrapped, and it was fairly easy to put the cover on the mattress. When our 90 lb. German Shepherd stepped on it, she laid down and didn't get off it the rest of the night. The next morning she came right away to her eat her breakfast. For the prior 2 weeks she had refused to get up to eat. My interpretation is that she had been in some degree of pain in the morning when using her old mattress, but felt better, in less pain, with her new therapeutic dog bed.

This product has outlasted the life of the mattress on my bed! It's so well-made and so durable. We drag it in and out of the house for the comfort of our old Great Dane. It's big enough to comfortably fit the dog and my smaller dog. My boys frequently share the dog bed with the dog for cuddle time. This receives my highest recommendation!

We've had this bed with the therapeutic insert for five years now. Our dog weighs 95 pounds and he absolutely loves it. I wouldn't waste time or money shopping for any other bed. We have another large dog coming soon so we may need another one.
