This is the second throw we've purchased from L.L. Bean. We loved the first one so much (the smaller size) that we decided we wanted the larger one, too. It's so soft and warm without being too heavy. It's the best throw we've ever had!

Extra large really is...large. I wanted a throw for the coldest winter days and I think this is it. I followed the instructions to wash it before using it and it came out very soft and fluffy. The grey color is neutral enough to not clash with anything in the living room but still has some character. I am pleased, so far, with the purchase.

I bought two, one large and one smaller. One for a throw while sitting in the recliner and one for our bed when needed. They are fabulous. Same LL BEAN quality I have been experiencing for over 50 years.

It's exactly as pictured and described. The red is a rich color and feels soft and cuddly. The large is perfect size to wrap yourself in on a cold and wintery evening.

I am amazed by the luscious color (cherry red) and texture of this fleece throw. It just naturally makes me want to cuddle it, and it does such a good job of keeping me warm by lying on top of my usual bed clothes without ever making me too hot. Lightweight, folds easily, a pure delight!

This throw is definitely going to be cozy for the receiver. It really is lovely. I did warn her when laundering it, to use cold water.
