Last year I ordered the Bayside Blue Heather throw to put over the seat and arms of a coincidentally matching new recliner so I could wash the throw if the dog-child, who sheds, claimed the chair. She didn't, but I've left it on the chair and sit on it everyday, sometimes pulling the sides over my lap for warmth. It's soft and cozy and I love the heathered blue. I like it so well I ordered a spare while the color was still available and washed and dried them both on cool gentle. I could hardly tell the new one from the old one! Unlike some reviewers, I've experienced no shedding and the first throw has lasted very well even with the daily wear it has gotten for many months. I hope the new one will be as good when it's time to use it. ........ For normal use these are lightweight throws, so very soft, and cozy with moderate warmth. The plush has a little depth to it. They are nicely hemmed on all four sides. I love these throws.

This oversized throw is perfect for my needs! Bought mainly to use at night while watching TV in my recliner. It keeps me warm. I've decided to also use it as another bedding layer.
