like the other danner shoes, these Panorama mid 6 are a winner. Looks and feels great, confident this will tame the Arizona desert...

So far, my review is not based on hiking yet. I put them on and immediately could tell they would be comfortable with minimal break in. I did wear them all day walking around an amusement park. They were comfortable and my knees didnt ache as they do with some shoes. My only complaint was that being very hot and walking on hot pavement all day, the boots didnt breathe as well as I would have liked. My feet didnt feel particularly hot which was nice, but when I took my boots off, my socks were far more damp than I would have expected. I look forward to hiking in them, and seeing what the dampness will be in wool socks. The comfort was great and surprising for a new pair of boots.

Much too wide with no lateral support. Perhaps a smaller size would have worked.

I love the quality and craftmanship of these boots. They are very comfortable. All I need to do was add an arch support insert to make the fit perfect!

Love the boots, the look and heighth, and the weight is perfect. I like how the tread provides flexibility and sturdiness at the same time. That said, they run slightly bigger than expected. So, I will be unable to wear these on longer hikes as they crimp my toes.

Light weight, combined with comfort and durability! Good shoe!
