Great shoes

The boots have a terrible lacing design. Its hard to believe that the same company designed the Danner Recurve lacing system which is very easily tightened and the Panorama lacing system which is very difficult to tighten. Normal tension on the Panorama laces tightens only the top lacing and does not tighten any of the lower lacings.

I like these boots. They are comfortable, have good support and the soles give you good traction on various terrain. I like these boots enough that I just bought a second pair for when these wear out as it seems that whenever I find a pair of boots that I really like, they have been discontinued by the time I'm ready for another pair. The only thing negative I can say is that they are a little warm for hiking in the hot Arizona summer. Wish they made a version that was not waterproof and breathed better (like the South Rim 600 boots that have sadly been discontinued).

I am always concerned about my new boots being too narrow. These (EEs) were just a little tight on my right foot. As I break them in, I will see what the future brings.

This is the 1st danner product that I've had to return in the last 20 years.feet started hurting the first 10 min of wearing. It was bound to happen eventually.

Comfortable out of the box. My 4th pair of Danners. The price was right at 88 bucks on sale. Will be able to use these with gaiters for spring and fall hikes. Happy with them

A great all around hiker!

While the stride feels a bit different, I will get used to that over time. The fit is good. I have a narrow foot but wear thick or several pairs of socks when I wear boots. The toebox is a little wide but that is OK as the length is spot on. I like the style. We shall see if the suede stands up to the rigors that I will put them through.

Super comfortably right out of the box. They look very well made. The fit is perfect and true to size for all my other shoes/boots. Time will tell if they have the typical Danner build quality.
