These hikers are sized correctly in length and width. The quality of materials and the way the shoe is made are dissapointing! they were half the cost, and should have been half of that! No arch support and not much better than that big box store you all know. Thanks for wasting my money and time. I sure hope the higher end hikers are still up to par. What happened to products in local stores that you can touch and see before you make the purchase.

I've tried lots of hikers from Merrells to Columbia and several in-between and these are BY FAR my favorite. I use Danner for hunting and came across there hikers when I was ready for a new pair and glad I tried. Will be my go to for now on.

I really like these boots but for me they have a fatal flaw that makes them very uncomfortable to wear. First off I have two pair of these boots (different colors). The have high quality leather and soft uppers that dont really require much break in. The soles are stiff and thick enough to protect your feet during a day of walking on rocks or uneven surfaces. The styling is great and the fit runs true or even a little large.
My problem with these boots is that there is a material seam where the tongue connects at the top/sides of the boot along with two pieces of leather. The way this seam is sewn creates a very hard and thick seam at the junction of the tongue and leather. This seam is thick enough that it feels like a hard ball under the leather. When you lace up the boot you end up with both seams pressing down into your foot just below the hooks and above the first set of eyelets. It is very uncomfortable having this seam pressed down into the top sides of your foot for any length of time. Both of my boots have this hard seam but its definitely worse on some of the seams vs. others. I can mitigate the issue by carefully routing the laces and not tightening them up but this isnt a real fix as I cant have loose laces and the boot is still uncomfortable because of the material pressing into the top of your foot.
I think Danner needs to look at their manufacturing process for this boot and find another way to join the leather and tongue in this area to eliminate this hard/thick spot. If they do this I would give the boots 5 stars considering everything else and the price.

I have a pair and LOVE them! Perfect in every way. I bought a pair for my husband and unfortunately, they are too narrow. Such a bummer.

No they did not, I have had a terrible time finding Danner boots to feel comfortable. Sadly, my old pronghorn/stronghold both made in china have been the best boots over the years! I have $1000 plus dollars worth of USA made Danners and everyone of them hurt my feet. Im glad they look awesome on my shelf, but thats where they spend their life.

These are beautiful boots. They are comfortable with soft uppers that wont take much to break in and a stiff sole to help with being on uneven terrain for hours. I love the color combination and generally like the boots. The one, in my view, major issue with these boots is that there is a ball of material at a junction where the tongue and two parts of the leather come together. This junction of three of the boot parts are sewn in such a way that it creates a thick material stack up that sits right on the top (sides) of your foot. When you tighten the laces down this ball of material will press into your foot making the boot very uncomfortable to wear. Howeverif you play with the routing of the laces you can route them around this ball of material and make the situation manageable. Ive never had a boot or shoe with this type of issue and think its something they should fix in their manufacturing process.

I have several Danner styles and love all of them, the Panorama could possibly be the most comfortable yet. Light yet good foot support. Great fit right out of the box, no break-in time needed.

Kinda like a beefed up sneaker. Very comfortable. The speed laces at the top make them easy to put on and take off.
