I need a half size larger (size 8.5) w/Brookes shoes than other shoes. (Size 8 w/most and 7.5 W Ariats) These shoes were immediately comfortable. Attractive shoe. I have a pair of Glycerin's that are 5 years old and they are a sturdier shoe. This one is all mesh front w/no reinforcement so I wonder how well it will hold up. It was the same price so i expected a sturdier shoe. I miss the round shoe laces. They are the best.. The flat ones are holding though and not needing retying.

I need a super cushioned shoe due to a condition that affects my tendons, ligaments, and joints. These are comfortable and have fantastic cushioning. I ordered an 8M and they fit fine (I wear a 7.5M on the narrow side). I also ordered an 8.5M which felt like an 8W. The 8.5M are only a tiny bit longer than the 8M but much wider. I've tried more than a dozen max cushioned shoes and these felt and fit the best but... I wore them around the house for an hour and awoke in the middle of the night with new severe knee pain and exacerbated pre-existing hip pain. I waited a few days and wore them around the house again only to awake with the same knee pain, so I have to return them :( Research taught me that the high heel to toe drop (10mm) is the probable cause of the pain. If you need a max cushioned shoe and can tolerate a high heel to toe drop, I highly recommend these (just make sure you size up).

I hate these shoes. Bring back the Glycerin 19. These nitrogen infused shoes are so much harder and more firm that previous iterations.

This have a good combination of support and cushion. I have osteoporosis and plantar fasciitis of the arch. These shoes help tremendously when Im on my feet for any amount of time. I found I wore a 1/2 size larger than my normal size. I also found they ran wide. My foot tends to be narrow although I rarely need a narrow especially in a tie shoe. I ordered the narrow and they fit perfectly. My only complaint is Books only offers the narrow in 1 color. I would like another pair in another color. The blue doesnt match everything.

I love a wide, roomy toe box, and these have them, especially with the stretchy upper. They felt great just walking around the house, but when i tried walking at a faster pace (like I do for exercise) I felt a lot of rubbing against the top of the toe area--enough to be very annoying. The Ghost 14 seems a teeny bit less wide in the toe box, but it doesn't cause that annoying rubbing.

At first, I was really happy with the width of the toe box and the stretchy fabric that made it very roomy in the toe box, but when I tried walking at a fast pace, I noticed a lot rubbing of shoe fabric against socks in the toe bed. Another review commented on that, saying something like her foot was kind of "sloshing around" in them. If you're mostly just standing all day, they might work. Since I like to walk a mile or two, I'm returning and going back for another pair of Ghost 14.

I usually run in launch or ghost but I wanted to try Glycerin for run/walk days or when my feet just need extra cushion. I enjoy the comfort of this shoe!

Enjoying the shoe. This is my second pair of them. I did notice that my outsole seems to wear down faster than some of my previous shoes. Lightweight and good cushioning. Still seem to be getting used to the newer materials used for the last of the shoe.

I have been faithful Glycerin wearer for my running. I bought the 20s as a second set of shoes for my marathon training. When I would wear them for shorter runs, (so my 19s would not wear out) I would end up with terrible shin splints. I went back to my 19s and the pain was gone. I just turned the 20s into my work shoes. The shoe itself felt different on my feet than the 18s and 19s. Almost like I was wearing blocks on my feet. I had better with the 18s and 19s.

Glycerin 20 , I didnt care much for the overall fit. I have been purchasing Brooks Shoes for well over 20 years, I did not care for the Dyad nor the Ghost 14.
I wear them for 4 months at the most then buy another pair of Brooks!

I don't know what is going on with Brooks , I've bought several different styles and the toe box is very tight I even went up a size, plus very uncomfortable, I will never buy Brooks again.

Glycerin is one of my favorites! They have great cushion and support. I do have to order a 1/2 size up than what I normally wear. I really wish that the womans shoes came in some of the mens colors though.

I had to return them. My Achilles tendon old injury flares up when I wear low drop shoes, and this shoe felt low. I will stick with my adrenaline. I love the adrenaline line due to its higher drop and supportive structure.

Shoe needs a wider toe box, mesh does not feel as comfortable as it should, and needs that little loop on the back outside of the shoe to help pull up over the heel.brooks glycerine 20

Like the look of this shoe with black top and sole. Problem for me was the sole. Middle section under the arch was stiff. I prefer the rocker motion of earlier versions that propelled my foot forward. Cushioning was great in toe box area but lacking elsewhere. Glycerin 19 is a much better shoe for me. Thanks for asking!

First off -loved my Glycerin 18 and 19's. The 20 went extra wide for some reason, I had to buy a narrow which I have NEVER purchased before and the fit was not perfect- it squeezed my heel a bit. Can't find any other high cushion shoe. Why does Brooks change so much year to year??? Please go back to 19's sizing and come up with some better colors. The 21's color combos are so hideous. Get a new designer.

I'm really sorry I didn't get the ghost 15. I had tried them on at a local athletic store and held out. I bought the glycerin based on some other reviews for plantar fasciitis but, they're not really that comfortable for my feet. I have short fat feet and wear a seven in an open toe shoe and an eight and a closed toe. I think I would do better with a 15 in a 7 1/2 wide. I admit it, I'm a little disappointed.
please let me know when they go on sale?

I have used the Ghost 15 for the past couple of years for my job where I walk an average of 12,000 steps per day and they have been the best I had found yet for comfort and wear. So I decided to venture out and get the Glycerin 20 based on reviews. It was very comfortable when I put it on and seemed wider in the footbed so I was hopeful. They gave me the feeling I could run with ease. However, a lot of my job is standing in one place and that is where they fell short. I felt soreness I hadn't gotten with the Ghost 15 so I returned them within a week of use with no problems and just re-ordered the Ghost 15. All in all, Brooks are the best!

I have very flat feet and find a difficult to find comfortable shoes that fit. This was not the right shoe for me. I very much appreciate Brooks allowing me to try the shoes at home for 90 days and return them. It really allowed me to figure out which shoe was the best for me.
