I have been wearing Brooks Glycerin's since around 2008 and this is the first pair I have had that I am not completely satisfied with. I'm not sure if I just got a bad pair, but they are "stiff" compared to all other Brooks I have had, or have. My feet go numb when running, which has never happened before in a Brooks, ever. I would recommend their shoes to anyone, they are great shoes, this pair however is not working out. I fear it is too late to return, so I will just have to live with them.

Not as good as the Glycerin 18s but descent shoes. Feels like there is less cushion and arch support. My feet are a little sore at the end of the day, but not as much as with other shoe brands. I do like the appearance of the shoe.

Work as a nurse in operating room. Standing for hours- these shoes are a godsend! Very stable and yet cushioned enough. Will def buy again!

Good shoe but seems heavy. Also fit in toe area seems too big in height as compared to glycerin 19 which I bought several pairs of. Loved the glycerin 19 as my foot is slim but not a narrow size. Will keep this pair but not thrilled with the fit.

I didn't know if I'd like the Glycerin. I had them once years ago, and they were too squishy for me. However, I really like this pair! They are soft, but it doesn't take too much work to pull your foot up/off the cushioning to take your next step. I appreciate the cushioning as well as their overall comfort. I'm using it in a variety of places--trails, indoors, roads etc.

These shows are SO light and easy to run in. Definitely will be buying more Brooks running shoes for trails like these again, maybe another pair of Glycerins. I love the limited edition white and khaki color, Ive even gotten complements on them. The heel sinks as you take a step, alleviating any harsh pressure to feet and joints. My back and knee pain went away immediately when I started wearing these shoes. 10/10 in my book will be purchasing from Brooks again.

Ive been wearing the brooks glycerin style for a long long time. I found both my pairs of glycerin 20s lost their cushioning at the 2 month mark. Highly disappointing I went back to wearing my 19s and searching for another pair of 19s to order. The cost($160.) is not justified for the glycerin 20s. The best glycerin for me was the 17 and Ive been with the glycerin shoe since they started being numbered. Im very disappointed in the direction this shoe has taken cheap, less durable materials and increase cost. Its off to search for a different shoe.

I love this shoe! I was not pleased with the color choices and originally had reverted back to a previous shoe brand. But that one was hurting my feet. Brooks came out with the white/gold combo and I jumped on it. The shoe is cushiony with a wide toe box. It's comfortably snug around my heel and low enough that it doesn't rub my ankles. The only thing I am not a fan of, is the large plastic-y looking heel. But that's not as noticeable with the white. Overall though, for me, someone who needs stability and cushioning, this shoe is perfection!

The shoes were a birthday gift for my daughter. She loves them and thanks me every day.

Ive been an ER RN for 42 years and need good shoes. I found Brooks glycerin about 10 years ago. They are the best work shoe Ive ever had. These new 20 are even better than ever.

I have always worn the glycerin for running and walking as I need the most cushioning possible. On my third pair of the 20s. Unfortunately, both the left and right shoe have tears above the toe area on all 3 pairs well before the maximum recommended mileage. However Im stuck with this model because of my ability to run without foot pain due to the extra cushioning (I do wear customized insoles). Hope the 21 model fixes the issue of the constant tearing in the toe area. $160 is way too much to pay for this consistent quality issue.

The neutral Glycerin 20 is great for daily walking. After being broken in, wearing them a few times -- they put a spring in my step and often feel like walking on a cloud. I have medium shoe size and they fit well, feel good, and feel wide enough for comfortable walking.

These are the most comfortable sneakers I have ever tried on. I will very likely be ordering another pair in the future.

I was a bit disappointed in the stiffness of the new Glycerin. It does not feel as comfortable as my previous ones. In fact, I removed the insole and used one from an earlier pair. Also the new shoe strings do not stay tied, also unlike the previous editions of Glycerin.

These shoes are amazing! Didn't require a breaking in period. I wore them to a 2 day festival less than a week after getting them and I had zero foot or leg pain (felt like a miracle as I am usually in a lot of pain during and after festivals). Another pro is that they got very dirty at the festival (in the desert) but the dust wiped right off with a damp washcloth and they look good as new now.

The cushion is perfect for my 12+ hour night shifts in the ICU. I wear them right out of the box on my way to work. Perfect!
