I've had other styles of Brooks, but for some reason the Glycerin 20's gave me issues. Uncomfortable to run in, not much arch support, and extremely uncomfortable in the toe box for some reason, even after a few runs.

Too thick cushion. I am in physical therapy for my knees and left hip. I bought these because I love my ghosts I wasn't getting better. In fact I was getting worse. I couldn't walk any distance without pain. I finally realized it was the shoes. I switched backed to my ghosts and my knees and hip are now recovering.

I have run on Brooks Ghost shoes for years. The sales rep said Glycerin had more padding than Ghost so I tried a pair. I found Glycerin too soft and squishy.

I have run with several Glycerin models before trying the 20. I was surprised to find I did not like this ride at all. I'm not sure why. It seemed to feel unstable, clunky maybe and was overall uncomfortable for me compared with my last Glycerin 18. I also tried the GTS model which was not any better. I also found that my leg muscles were sore after the run which is unusual for me. After about 5-6 tries, gave up and sent 'em back. Brooks readily accepted them as promised!Surprising

I bought these sneakers because they were highly recommended. I'm not a runner or anything like that but, I DO work long hours and stand, pretty much ALL day These sneakers definitely are comfortable and cushiony BUT, after wearing them for 2 weeks and trying to break them in before saying that they're not worth it, my feet were hurting even more. I just had constant foot pain while wearing them for work. Like I said they feel awesome when you put them on the first time. Perhaps it's just me but, definitely did not help me so

Comfortable for my low arches. True fit. Only complaint is poor outside edge stability.

Shoe comfortable, but toe box is much larger than my Glycerin 19's, my feet are all over the place in these. Bought these online, will not happen again.

Well, need to say that Brooks' Women's Glycerin is no longer what it used to be. I have to purchase inserts to add more cush' to the shoe. Wish you'd pass this review onto Brooks'. I've purchased their shoes for several years now as they were quality shoes. Not so anymore. Wish they'd go back to how they were making them in the first place. They are priced too high for the product anymore and the fine 'cushion feel' is no longer there....Sorry, but just 'sayin.'

This 10EE is a full size larger than my existing 10EE Brooks running shoes. Clearly Brooks has a problem. And I don't get it.

I bought these as a replacement for some Brooks 20's that I wore out after 3 years. In these new ones, changed the insole to a thinner, harder, flatter insole, whis is much less comfortable. I took out the insoles from my old pair and the new pair was comfortable. If I hadn't had the old, pair for the soft insole, I definitely would have returned them.

I have flat awkward feet, and looking for comfortable running shoes is a never-ending adventure. I had heard good things about the Glycerin, and I decided to try it out despite not finding much success with Brooks. While walking was okay, and the footbed was somewhat bouncy, running was an awful experience. One run later, and my knees were killing me. It was like running on concrete. Barefoot was better than this. While there is some amount of cushion in the heel, there is nothing towards the toes. It is also much wider than expected, similar to a New Balance 1080. The only shoe that has worked for me thus far is the Nike Pegasus, even though its not as plush as I like.

I’ve been a Hoka and On Cloud fan the past few years, but their quality and consistency has gone down significantly over time. I think they’ve become too popular. Bought the Brooks Glycerin 20, which is the first time I purchased Brooks that I can recall. Fit and cushion are important to me. I need a wider toe box and this has it in the medium width. The wide width was too wide. The forefoot and heel are well cushioned. The only problem with these shoes is the tongue. It slides to the outside of the foot, which makes the laces loose and the shoe uncomfortable. For this reason, I cannot recommend this shoe.

I always wear the Brooks Adrenaline, but I thought I would try a pair of the Glycerin because I heard good things about them. I ran in the Glycerin 1 time and they made my back hurt so bad, I went straight back to the Adrenaline. Returned the Glycerin and got me a new pair of Adrenaline. The Glycerin do not work for me.

Very disappointed. I have worn glycerins for years because of their great cushion and fit. The new model are much wider, longer and harder than the last pair I bought of the same size glycerin. I will likely find a new brand of running shoe. Why did you change it so drastically? Especially the cushion factor. Please go back to making it the way it was 2 years ago.

Compared to 17/18/19 way too much cushion. Outer knee pain after 5 mile run went and put my 19's back on did a few more runs and nada no knee pain. Ruined a good thing

I like the look of the shoes and when I put them on they fit well and felt comfortable. When I run with them, I don't feel the cushion or spring that I have felt in the other Brooks shoes I have had. Have only used them a few times so need to see how they hold up.

I had the ghost 14 and was much happier with the overall comfortability of the shoe I looked into the glycerin model and thought they would be more comfortable as I recently underwent foot surgery and my podiatrist recommended this model the front part of my foot isn't as cushioned as in the ghost 14 but as I work in food service I was not sure the 90 day warranty is valid they look like they have been through it

Glycerin are great shoes, the colors and the design option are disappointing, no option for older respectable men, the bright colors etc , Couldn't find one color I can possibly buy, this will be the first time I miss buying the lates Glycerin version in years.

Width of toe box was fine but the “height” left too much space.

Great shoe. This is my 5th Glycerin and I'll stick with them. The problem is the laces. No matter what I do the laces come loose. I've double knotted and that doesn't work either. I'd suggest going back to the nice, plan, dull laces like previous Glycerins.

The fit was fine. However, he sent me a used pair of shoes that are water stained halfway up the soul with sunflower seeds and other debris stuck in the treads. What is going on?
