Versatile Comfort - This shoe is so wonderfully comfortable. It fits my foot beautifully, which is no easy task. It looks great with pants or long skirts. It probably runs a little narrow, so if you don't have a very narrow foot, you may need a medium or wide. This is the reason that it fits me so well.

Solid comfort - These shoes are soft, comfortable and look good. I have a narrow foot and I'm hard to fit. It's so nice to know that whenever I need shoes for work or casual, Zappos always comes through. My last shoes arrive in just two days after I ordered them--that's also a huge plus. Thanks Zappos

Trotters Ash - Never having bought shoes or very little other apparel on the web, I was worried that I might not be satisfied. Because of the free shipping, free return policy that Zappos has, I decided to take a chance. Trotter shoes I knew to be good, the picture of the shoe, especially the enlargement, showed it to be the style I wanted. My worry was that it wouldn't fit, but it did. I think they will be very comfortable (I bought two pairs, one in black and one in brown ). Thank you, Zappos.

A trip to London - This shoe worked very well for running around the streets of London. It was cool and rainy there and this shoe held up beautifully in all conditions. I felt very polished and well dressed as well.

Pleased - This is a nice basic shoe to wear with pants. My feet are very narrow and I did find that it feels just a bit wider than its indicated size. However, it wasn't enough to warrant adding a liner to snug it up. I have found it comfortable to wear all day long.

Great Trotter's shoes! I recently purchased the Trotters Ash shoes and they fit great. I have a small but wide foot (size 6W) and these are very comfortable. They are made of very soft leather. I have several pairs of Trotters and they all fit great.

Smart looking shoe - This shoe is comfortable, looks great with dress slacks and jeans as well--Sporty, yet professinal looking. I really like this shoe. I have a very narrow foot and this shoe fits gerat. I love the Zappos website...they have a great selection of shoes in my size and save me time and gas trying to find them in my area.

Great shoe - These shoes fit great and look great with my pant suits for work. I can walk a long way and they still feel great. Would buy more of these in different colors.

I read all the reviews before I bought this shoe because I have a difficult time finding a comfortable shoe, and I wasn't disappointed. It was comfortable from the first time I put it on. I have a narrow foot with a high arch and it fits perfectly. The only color available at the time I ordered was brown, but I would like it in black also. It is nice for casual wear with jeans and also with skirts for work. The only problem I have is that I need a shoe horn to put it on.

Trotters's Ash - This is a good looking, casual, comfortable shoe, that is true to fit. I wear it with slacks mostly. I first ordered two pairs, one in blue and one in black. I was so pleased that I ordered a third pair in brown.

The shoe is very comfortable and width of shoe is great. The only disavantage is that the shoe shows creases from bending at the toe. It feels very good.

This is a handsome shoe, and much classier looking than the picture depicts. It looks very nice with dress slacks, and I wear them with a very tailored and dark dress with dark stockings. It was a great look. While I haven't worn them all day as yet, they were comfortable during the time I wore them, and I was on my feet the majority of the time.

This is probably the most comfortable shoe I have ever purchased that wasn't an athletic shoe. I have wide feet and high arches, and most shoes simply do not work. The higher cut and the gored elastic seem to make this fit so well.

I was so pleased when I tried this shoe because I have narrow feet, 2A, and trust me, they fit like a glove. For anyone who has a narrow foot, I recommend this shoe as a casual, yet comfortable alternative you can even go shopping in.

Nice shoes, for a while - My shoes arrived quickly and the fit and color were what I expected. I should have remembered this type of shoe shows its age rather quickly due to the lack of embellishment/seams in the front. If you don't like leather wrinkles where the toe meets the foot, buy a different style.

Perfect! I am an 8M and the fit is absolutely perfect. They look great with slacks, jeans, or casual dress. The toe tapers a little to be a touch dressier than I am used to which for me could be an issue since I am a stay-at-home Mom who wears sneakers and clod-hoppers, but the leather is so soft and giving that I was astounded by the comfort!

Enjoy pure comfort - Trotter's Ash are probably the most comfortable shoes for all day wear I have ever owned. I am buying two more pair, fearful the style will be discontinued.

The only shoe in years that truly fit my wide feet! I own two pairs of the Trotter Ash (fudge and navy). I wear a 9ww and usually buy a 10w in other brands because ww are too difficult to find in a fashionable style. So basically, my shoes are too big. But since I have brought the Trotters Ash, I can't image wearing anything other than Trotters. These shoes really wear wonderfully on my feet. I know this sounds like a commerical, but I truly mean it. My husband wants me to buy several to have forever, so that I'll never be without my Trotters. He can't believe I finally found a shoe that fits my feet. We are both elated. So please make them in more colors (olive, tan, grey,). Thank you, T.Jenkins

I absolutely love this shoe. After I received the black, I immediately ordered the blue. They are wonderfully comfortable, true to size, and stylish. I would not recommond for people with wide feet. These are very stylish without being too trendy. They are very polished and professional looking for 'business casual' wear at the office. I absolutely love them.

These are just about the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I'm on my feet a lot and the discomfort I used to have with shoes I wore before just isn't a problem with these. I've bought several pairs and it's been a Godsend.

The best shoes I ever bought! I was amazed at how comfortable and nice looking these shoes are. They are true to fit and feel more comfortable than bedroom slippers. I have very wide feet and problems with fallen arches at both the sides and balls of my feet as well as inflammation in the tendons of my feet, so I'm just miserable if my shoes are not comfortable, which is usually the case. These shoes are the exception and I'll be ordering another pair in a different color.
