Looking for lighter weight, softer shoe.

It seems as if the Walk Easy shoe by SAS has changed. I ordered two pair at the same time, in October 2020. I have Rx orthotics now for 4 1/2 years, and a year ago I got a new set of Rx orthotics for some lingering plantar fasciitis, a left foot bunion, and I supinate. These arrived and they are longer and bigger I think even though I ordered the exact same size and model! So I am very disappointed because this has been a go - to shoe for me for about 3 years. I guess I will try "Free Time" in a smaller size and narrower width.

These shoes are too smooth on bottom. I don't think they are good for stones or gravel

The ball of the foot and length were fine but the heel was loose.

These are large and boxy. Would work well if you needed deep inserts.

I had purchased 5.5 wide .it was too big. I wen to 5 wide too short.. the first pair in New buck was too long! When I re -ordered I chose coffee!(sale)! However that color is the color of coffee with a dash of cream and it ugly! Ot pictured as shown!

Not enough tongue in the shoe. There is by design a great amount of support in the heel.

The fit was all right, but I did not like the rocker bottom as others have said.My problem right foot could not tolerate this feature and I returned them.

At first it looked like a shoe that I could wear to work but once I put it on it started hurting my instep. The shoe is stiff and the front of the shoe is curved upward so it rocks if you are standing still.

As is the case with other SAS shoes, I find them too loose in the heel. I keep trying different styles of their shoes, but end up returning most of them for this reason.

This shoe has too much arch support for my feet. The shoe has a rocker motion and I believe that adds to much pressure on my arches. The is plenty of room in the toe box.

Felt true to size and was comfortable, but very matronly looking. Not stylish at all.

I use orthotics so the sole does come out. I prefer to wear sneakers as anything else hurts, but I continue to search for “work shoes”. These are very orthotic looking and I would have difficulty trying to wear them and be “casually stylish”, even though they would likely be comfortable if they fit properly. The 10.5W which is my normal size slipped off at heel with every step even with my orthotics in - so I guess go 0.05-1.0 sizes down. They are somewhat clodhopper in appearance and feel. Shipped them back day after receipt, waiting for UPS notification. Thanks again, Zappos. Will keep trying.

Very sturdy shoes, but quite heavy compared to my SAS Viva. I first tried the narrow as that has been my previous size in SAS. Narrow was tight in the vamp, so customer service helped me do an exchange for medium width. This time the shoes fit but the extra pair of laces was missing from the box, and that along with the weight of the shoe made me ultimately decide to return them! I will not give up on SAS though, the workmanship is fantastic and of course nobody beats the excellent customer service at Zappos!

I ordered my first pair of SAS shoes and was shocked by the weight! I have back issues and my legs feel heavy all the time but I could barely lift my feet!! They do feel springy with a lot of support and I can see why people like these shoes. I’m sorry to say I will be returning, I may try one more style and check the weight listed in the description.

Order these shoes for my wife, she love the shoe but said the arch support was too much for her and felt she would be unable to wear them all day at work. Had to send them back. size and width were fine, just the arch support was too much for her.

Shoe in leather is very soft but felt too long.

Nice shoe but I have been told that I have flat feet so a larger size 8 in an A Narrow might work better for me.

I have medium width feet (38 M in SAS) with narrow heels. These shoes narrow out at the pinkie toe and pinch it because of the rocker sole. If I go up a size, then the heel doesn't fit. I also think this shoe is not flattering. Will be returning.

Thought the style was nice. Soft to touch both inside and out. Wish the tie box was a bit higher. Not good for my problem feet. As always Zappos continues to be patient with my many returns. They are the best. Thank You....

This was a very uncomfortable walking shoe. It lacked support and cushioning.

These shoes are beautiful but just too heavy, also the sole curves inward making the shoe feel tippy from side to side. The size 11 was perfect for me as a fit and otherwise they felt terrific.
