I primarily use it for walking 10,000 steps per day and for exercising. One thing I notice is that they have stopped putting in the shoe box an extra set of laces, which used to be a very helpful item.

A few years ago I bought my first pair and was so impressed, I bought a second pair in a different color about a month later. Recently I bought a third color, Nova. These shoes are really comfortable and offer superior support over the foam and mesh junk so common out there these days. They look great too, even my opinionated 26 year old daughter doesn't criticize them like she did my New Balances. I gave only four stars because SAS stopped tacking the tongue to one side of each shoe which prevented the tongue from sliding to one side.

These sneaker are what I have come to expect from SAS. One can walk in these all day for some distance, These have great arch support, though I should have went with a darker color. The size was accurate and they are quite comfortable.

good shoes. I had to go a half size larger 11 1/2 WW because my last two 11 WW's were tighter than the many pairs that I have purchased over 15 years.

I was a New Balance guy forever, but I think I found my new brand with SAS. Very comfortable (which is difficult for me). Will purchase again!

I like the size and fit; I ordered wide and they do have alot more room especially toward the front of the foot. They are good for walking. They are a bit heavier than I expected; not for running.

Walking on hard surface for work, two days weekly. Return policy is rather absurd! Only used walking on carpet? After I wore them a few times and blistered my feet, they started to break in.

While the back was slightly lower than the black all leather Journey, it otherwise was excellent. The support it gives is excellent. SAS is the most comfortable sneaker, the best wide width sneaker, and I'm hard to fit.

None. SAS is the best sneaker for true to size and comfort.

I ordered these in a 10 B. The overall sizing of the SAS Journey Mesh was fine. The fit across the balls of my feet was snug without being too tight. The length of both shoes was as it should be. The only issue I had was the heel on the right shoe was a little loose allowing my heel to move up and down. For an almost $200 pair of shoes this was unacceptable to me so I had to return them. If the heel had fit I am certain that these would have been probably the best pair of athletic shoes I had ever owned.

I am used to buying a size 14M in most brands. With SAS they were a half size too big. Will be exchanging them for 13.5. Hopefully, that will be a better fit in both length and width. Fortunately, Zappos makes the process easy. If the fit was better I would have given 5 stars. Thanks, Zappos for great selection and service

I like the style of this shoe, but it felt heavy compared to any other sneaker I've ever owned and 1/2 size smaller. I will try to order the same shoe a half size bigger and deal with the weight of the shoes. I really like them

These shoes are superb. I bought these on SAS New Years sale and the colors were limited. Normally I would wear a solid white conservative color and this is the ONLY reason I am rating them 4 stars instead of 5 stars. But the price more than makes up for the color selection. The shoe itself is SAS quality. The size is perfect1 The quality is unsurpassed! These shoes are some of the most comfortable that I have ever worn and are definitely much better than any other brand. Love SAS

Have purchased 2 pair of these, great comfort and fit, but also experienced: 1) stitching comes apart in big toe area after about a year (both times starting left foot) and 2) by two years a hole in that same area (in my case both on right foot). Gave feedback to company. I'm trying again because other products have been excellent and 2 years is shelf-life of a lot of sneakers, just hoping SAS could do better.

I have worn these Journey shoes from SAS for over 10 years. They are very good for my feet issues. I wear them almost exclusively. They break down after 3-4 months, and I have to have new ones. If I have a complaint about the shoes, that would be it. I have two buddies now happily wearing these shoes from my personal endorsement. Also, when I recently ordered two pair of SAS shoes on line, ee didn't get the cleaning kits offered with purchase.

Well constructed, good weight, insole less than expected, switched out. Wish there were more options, wider sizes and/or extra depth.

Very well structured shoe. Great support. They felt a bit clunky for my taste as I like something more streamlined but if you are looking for a sneaker that supports you, this is great and has nice style. I'm more of a lightweight Nike kinda person. this veers closer to New Balance sneakers. I'm also female. I wear an 11 women's and the men's 10 was a bit loose even with an orthodic. If you're a solid 10 in Men's it should be fine. If you sometimes wear 9 1/2, go with a 9 1/2.

This was the third pair of SAS shoes I have purchased. I have two pairs of the SAS Venture (Gray and brown). I wear a size 13AA, so I always have a hard time finding comfortable, good quality shoes in my size. I purchased the SAS Venture in 13 Slim, which is "A" width according to the store. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. (Shoes companies today cater to wider widths when you get up to a size 13. In fact, I have given up on shopping in stores to find any type of shoes, athletic, casual, dress, etc.) Unfortunately, the SAS Journey Mesh in size 13 Slim, was wider in the heel than the Venture and they slid too much on my heels. I had to return them. Otherwise, I will consider buying SAS shoes in the future, depending on the style and fit.

Great fit and very nice looking shoe. Platform is pretty stiff out of the box, will have to see if it softens up with wear.

My favorite of 3 pairs of SAS shoes but not perfect. It's no shoe for wetness because of the porous mesh across the top. Not a defect but the buyer should consider. Also the first of many SAS I've owned to develop a structural "failure". Right above the left big toe first 1 stitch let go but then a small hole developed in the mesh right below the stitch. Maybe it's my toenail but hasn't happened to older styles of SAS. Also, much easier to keep all leather models looking great. They are several years old.

I was looking for a lower profile athletic shoe that still provided some stability at the ankle and this shoe really hit those marks. I wanted a cushier footbed so I used my own insert after removing the insole that came with the shoe. In terms of size, a 9.5 WW was too long so I went down a half size, but there wasn’t a huge difference in length. Will mention I’m female with very painful feet, so I buy SAS men’s Journey sneaker bc it has a higher instep to fit my foot more comfortably, yet still a bit lower profile around the ankles.

For a comparison to the iconic New Balance 990 series running shoe model, I purchased the grey suede-nylon SAS Journey athletic styled shoe. For length fitting the two brands are about equal. My shoe size width is B, and the SA model B width is a bit more narrow fitting (at the ball of the foot), than the New Balance 990 shoe model. For comfort and stability, the SAS Journey has more of a rigid walking shoe sole compared to the relatively flexible out sole running shoe design of the New Balance 990. In summary, if you have worn the New Balance 990 series running shoe, but might like to try a bit heavier duty, more rigid bottom walking style shoe, the SAS Journey may fit your needs.
