I purchased this slipper in a size 10, your true to size for this shoe.
It was too short. I returned it for a size 11. it was way too long.
I returned them also. I was trying to replace the same slipper that finally developed a hole in the bottom of one. I have worn these winters for what my wife insists 20 years; at least!
Excellent service that I do appreciate. I wanted another pair, but missed.

I've been wearing this slipper for years and they were always very nice. Now they are very narrow and quality has gone down a few notches. The flannel is wearing thin after a couple months and the flannel wasn't even sewn together fully in the heal. I had to fix it. Color is not as pictured in the online and catalog ads. Shoe lace doesn't match the color of the shoe. It is actually contrasting with a very light colored lace. Laces don't stay tied no matter what kind of knot you use. Very disappointed.

Poor stitching on the inside. Flannel wears out quickly even though my heals are not rough.

The toe box on this slipper is pretty tight and I don't even have wide feet. I cant size up because they were already a little long. Gonna return and explore other options for this fall.

Bought this in Feb 2022; by Summer 2023 the lining was basically gone--despite the fact that I always wore them with socks. $60 for a year of slippers? Never again.

The sole of these slippers are as this as paper. Much worst quality than a pair that lasted 4 years

Useless to me as I was trying the smallest men's size to fit a woman's foot. Llbean has dropped practical moccasins for women! And left us with fluffy slippers! Shopping elsewhere.

My hand-sewn slippers just arrived and I couldn't be more disappointed. They are an entire size to big. I can't wear these. Now I have to go through the hassle of returning them. The site indicated I should order my regular shoe size. There was no information suggesting they would be made so much bigger.

I've had several pairs of these slippers in the past, all being very good. This recent pair started squeaking about a year after I purchased them. Drives me crazy! These now being sold by LL Bean are not what they used to be.

Should have read the reviews. An 8 Medium is more like an 8 Narrow. I don't have wide foot, so I was shocked at how tight they were. Now, I have to send them back and pay $6.50 and the box to a UPS Store. I hope LLBean is not going the way of every other retailer.

Based on recommendations, I had high expectations for this slipper. Unfortunately, the fit is uncomfortably tight upfront and very loose at the heal. Was hoping a break-in period would be minimal but, due to excessive foam padding in the front, I have doubts about any break-in improvement. I've been wearing them for 3 weeks. My normal shoe width is C,

Please be aware that the lining in these shoes are not very durable. As you can see from the picture

Was told when ordering if I wore 11 1/2 size in a New Balance shoe to order size 12. The size 12 were much too large so returned the shoes with a $6.50 return fee and ordered size 11. The left shoe fits fine but the right shoe is too narrow through the toe, seems to be a manufacturing defect. I will keep the shoes and hope that they will stretch over time but am disappointed with the fit. I replaced a pair of these that I got years ago and litterally wore the soles off of them and loved them. These seem to be of lesser quality.

It looks like the left was made in a different factory to the right. The tie is too short and keeps coming undone.

I've purchase many of L.L. Beans Handsewn Slippers and shoes in the
Freeport and Boston stores over many years with great results.
Make no mistake these are not "Maine Quality" workmanship! These are produced out of country now. The top pattern for the slippers leather is ridiculously narrow, making the entire thing too tight. I spoke with a Bean representative, I told him I ordered size 9 and they are too tight, so he said he would send me the next size up, a 10, to correct the problem...Okay. However the next size up is just longer, still just as tight and useless. Additionally, I now find I'm going to be charged by L.L. Bean separately for each pair just to return a improperly made product that used to be wonderful (still brand new, in boxes) . Skip these!
