These slippers are constructed well, as all repeat customers of LL Bean have come to expect. You cuold even run to the store in them given the rubber sole, and almost boat shoe look. The best part for me is... no sweaty feet! too often the sheep skin finish on slippers leads to an immediate feeling of warm/cozy, but within five mins. they are uncomfortable/unwearable. These puppies are great, soft, and I wear them all day... even in the summer months.

These slippers are comfortabe and seem sturdy enough to be durable--about 25% cheaper than comparable prices elsewhere.

This is my second pair of them. Very confortable wear them all the time, probably why the heel wore through, but for the price and quality you can't beat them.

I have purchased several pairs of these slippers over the years, during which period they have increased in price from $19.95 to whatever they sell for now. That constitutes an endorsement right there. I like the flannel lining, the non-skid sole material which is ok to walk outdoors in, and the fact that the slippers keep their size and shape. What wears out is the flannel lining. It's pretty thin and within a year the padding under the heal starts to show through. I still have all the pairs I have purchased, but have relegated the oldest to occassionally visited places and one pair for travel. Item seems to be quality workmanship. Initially, product was a little stiff but seems to be working in. Synthetic sole is very none slip, coups possibly be a little smoother finish. Over all, for the price point,these slippers fit the bill.

He wears fleece-lined in the winter (often with socks) and flannel-lined in the summer (usually without socks). I buy them for him for the good quality.

Typical L.L. Bean product -- good construction, classic look, and affordable. These slippers run fairly true to size because the flannel lining is not very thick. If you plan to wear them with socks it may be snug (or order a half-size up). The flannel is not super-warm but it's certainly adequate for any house that's heated. The shearling version fits more snugly and tends to make your feet sweaty...avoid them unless you have extremely cold floors or spend time outside in the winter.

These slippers were quality made, but one of the shoes slips up & down on my husband's heel, so we are returning them for another pair to see if they fit better.

Last week I was down at my favorite eatery meeting some friends. One of them mentioned that my moccasins looked comfortable. Little did they know (and did I realize) I was wearing my new slippers. I had walked a couple of blocks in my extremely comfortable slippers! These came to me a few weeks ago. They are replacing a 10 year old pair that I wore everywhere as well--like I said, they're tried and true. I wouldn't consider any other slipper than these. The toebox, however seemed a little snug. Hopefully they will break-in as the description suggested.

I love the slippers but I'm very disappointed that in the span of 6 months the flannel lining has already worn out. To keep wearing them with any level of comfort I had to put in Dr. Scholls shoe liners. I love that I can wear them indoors and outdoors, and other the lining wearing out they have very comfortable.

Only complaint is only one color choice. That choice, dark brown, is fine. The last pair, that finally wore out, was a yellowish color which I liked a lot, would have selected again.

Very pleased with these slippers. While they do run a little large, they seem true to size. While snug at first, they break in rather quickly (2-3 days). They are quit comfortable and I would purchase them again, knowing what I know after having them for about 1 month. I cannot speak to their durability yet, but have always been please with L.L. Beans quality. Worth purchasing!

I purchase these slippers as replacements for some LL Bean moosehide slippers I've had for a long time. I could not find the mooseshide ones this time so I guess that they have been discontinued. I'm a little disappointed in these as they are not as nice as the old ones. I've worn them for about 2 weeks now and they are getting more comfortable. These slippers are alittle short (I wear a 9 and these are 10's) and a little narrow across the ball of the foot.

Got these slippers for my husband for Christmas. Tried to get the same kind that he has had for a number of years, which has worn really well. I was going to throw out the old ones but he thinks they still have a lot of wear! I told him not to keep the new ones to look at. So sometimes he has on the new pair of slippers and sometimes the old pair. If the new ones last as long as the old ones they should last the rest of his life.

My husband is very happy with these slippers - great quality, nice sole, good color, comfortable. The only downside is that he can't wear them with his heavier socks. Go for a wider fit than usual if you plan to wear a heavier sock.

Wish they came in wide or half sizes. 9 is too narrow 10 is too long and sloppy.

These kept my feet warm inside and outside (when I needed to run outside for firewood quickly) during a western New York cold front!

The slippers are comfortable and lived up to my expectations of LLBean quality

I have purchased a pair of Men's Handsewn sllippers, flannel lined, for the past few years and find them to be very comfortable and lasting. This is a great item!

Uppers are excellent! Sole wore out in 2 seasons but the newer version seems to have a more rugged sole. Flannel insides wear out quickly. I wear a 9.5 shoe but had to order a size 11 for this slipper. They were tight for a few hours but stretch quickly to fit the foot. Give them time to break in. I love them!

Just what I have been looking for - good workmanship - good fit -should last a longtime

Gave these as a gift, but the receiver of the gift returned them to me stating that although they fit well, were very comfortable and were in all other ways just what he was looking for, the rubber bottom was too stiff, causing the slipper to pull away from his heel as he walked. I did think they had a leather sole, and apparently the rubber sole didn't work, so I will be returning them. Better luck next time!

I have been afraid to order shoes (of any type) from LL Bean due to their reputation of "running wide". I wear a B width dress shoes & always thought that they may be too wide for me. After ordering these slippers, I think that Bean's regular width is actually a "Medium" width. These fit me fine. I would add that the vamp of the slipper is very high up on the top of the foot & could be shortened by one inch & not hurt the fit at all.

Love the slippers, fit well and wear like iron. Just wish I could figure a way to keep the leather laces tied.

These flannel lined slippers were ordered to replace a similar pair from LLBean that wore out after many years of use. I would have prefered to have wide and half sizes available to get a perfect fit right out of the box, but I trust from experience that these will "break in" just fine.
