Bought these a year ago & they are the most comfortable pair of slippers I've owned! My feet sweat, so flannel-lining is enough to keep them warm w/o socks. The crepe sole keeps the slippers lightweight w/enough support & protection to wear outside & walk to mailbox. I agree...order up if half-size for perfect fit. I'd give it 5 stars, except the rawhide laces never stay tied, unless you double-knot them. I know others who say the same thing.

These are exactly what I expected them to be. They look and feel nice. My husband said they fit well and are comfortable. His only complaint is that they NEVER stay tied. He tried double knotting the leather strings and it doesn't work. If it annoys him too much, I'll probably have to cut them off.

I had been searching for a pair of flannel-lined moccasin slippers for my husband for quite sometime when I came across this pair on llbean.com. My husband is picky about style and fit which both are perfect with this pair. Most moccasin slippers available are shearling lined which he does not care for stating they are "too warm" on his feet. These slippers meet all his requests with L.L. Bean quality and the price was great too!

I wondered if these would keep my feet warm enough during our cold Oregon fall and winter weather. They work just great and are comfortable to wear. My wife thought I should have a good pair of slippers, and these fit the bill.

Hubs works from home and these are his every day shoes, lucky guy. They are comfortable and durable.

I've bought two pairs of these for different men, and for both I needed to go up one size.

I have several pairs of these for myself and my father. The exterior is durable but the flannel lining is the weak link in the chain of durability. They are comfortable but the lining always gives out and leads me to replace the slippers yearly or even sooner. If the liner was better I wouldn't hesitate to give them a five star rating.

Wonderful materials. Fit is a little large in length and somewhat narrow. I assume they will form to my feet over time. Great slippers!

These slippers are very comfortable, with just the right combination of support (leather uppers) and comfort (lining and insole).

This is the second pair I have purchased for my husband. He wears them everyday inside and out and loves them! Only issue is they are a bit narrow to begin with, but stretch out within a couple of weeks

These slippers are very comfortable and warm. I only wish that they came in wide as you need to break them in if you have wider feet. This is also my second pair.

My guy wears a 10 1/2 shoe and we got 11's, but with his socks, they fit well. We were looking for a slipper that wasn't fleece lined as those tend to make his feet sweat and these work really well for him ! I will continue to purchase these for him because he likes them so well.

The catalog advises going to the next larger size for half-sizes. I did this and the size was too large and fell off my foot. I had to return for the next smaller size at the store. There was no problem with the return, but it did require an unnecessary trip.This item will stretch over time and should not be ordered in a larger size.

These slippers are really comfortable. The only negative is that the flannel lining wears out too quickly. Even with that, I like them so much that I bought a second pair after I left my first pair at my daughter's.

Been a Bean customer for 20 plus years. These slippers were well made and good looking. BUT, despite upsizing to the next larger size( 8.5 to 9 ) ,as suggested by Bean, they were so tight my big toe was making a bulge in the front. Since a size 10 would be next and no socks are used, I decided not to try the 10.I know bean mocs stretch (have worn many) but these were so small that would not help.

I had the last pair of these slippers for about 10 years so I decided to get new ones. Fit is wonderful and comfortable and softens my step when I wear them on hard wood floors. Warm and cosy in winter.

The slippers are well-made and comfortable, however the flannel lining wore out in a relatively short time. LLB replaced the slippers with no questions asked, so that is an excellent deal!

Having previously owned 2 pairs of Bean's all moosehide slippers, I expected these to last just as long. Unfortunately, the thin sole wore through even with indoor use only on carpeted floors. Otherwise they are very comfortable slippers.

BUYER beware of sizes. If you normally take a size 9 1/2 Any ware near a wide. You better order a size 11. All the sizes run small and to make things worse DON'T think you can order a Wide..NOT going to happen!! Order on line , RETURN to store. The people at the store were MORE than happy to exchange them for me. ( I am sure this is NOT the first time this has happened!) I thought I was going to save money on free shipping BUT I spent it on gas to take the slippers back to the store.. NO., They were NOT made in Maine.. Unless Maine is part of China...

I ordered these slippers for my Husband and he loves them in every way. He has only had them for 3 weeks but wears them everyday. The fit was perfect and they look really nice on his feet. I'm just waiting to see how well they hold up before giving them a 5 star rating.

I purchased for my husband because his old LLBean's had worn out. He likes the new, not suede, leather look but says the shoes are slightly bigger than the old. He says they feel about a half size too large.

Have ordered several pairs over the last 4 years. Highly recommend!

everything is great but the laces come undone easily otherwise they are terrific

These slippers are well made and were exactly as advertised. I returned them because they were too warm for the mid-season use I was envisioning.
