The inside lining wears out prematurely. I've returned two pairs because of this. I'm 5'11 164lbs, so the slippers are not stressed from large weight loads on the inside. Great slippers otherwise.

Quality workmanship,nice design. Comfortable but I wish it came in half sizes. Nice for inside wear but sturdy enough to walk outside.

These are great slippers, and Bean would be served better if they had slightly thinner laces. Until the laces for these slippers become used extensively, soaked in leather conditioner for days, etc. they are too thick to tighten. I know that they serve little with regard to keeping the slippers on, but they unravel "all the time"... Please change them for everyone else's sake anyway.

The slippers seem well made. We returned them because they were too big. My husband is having trouble finding a slipper that is not too wide in the heel.

The Flannel liner wears out much more quickly than the fleece liner did. I have 4 pairs of Fleece lined that have been soaked in natural laundry detergent and \ or oxygen based sanitizer and they're still great. Had them for years and years. The newer Flannel Lined after 3 pairs keeps wearing out the flannel in less than a year. Why no Fleece lined Handsewns any more? - used to be genuine lambs fleece too. I've been waiting, wanting, and checking for years and years now. Handswens have the best soles that stay quiet and waterproof after time too.

This is my second pair. My first pair was 10+ years. Lining just started to wear in the heel. Would have given them 5 stars except the leather laces are almost impossible to keep tied. Otherwise they are perfect. Only reason I have new pair is my wife gave them to me for Valentines Day.

I like the slippers very much and they've pretty much met my expectations.. They are a bit stiffer than I anticipated, however, so I am patiently breaking them in to see if they become more comfortable.

Very comfortable and can we worn inside - can we worn outside as well depending on terrain and weather. We live in VA and perfect to do quick errands with. Saw a lot of reviews about flannel wearing out only had mine a short time but so far no issues.

Been several years since last purchased and the lining has changed so we shall see how well the new lining wears, but so far my husband likes these.

This is my second pair in five years. Why did I wait so long to buy new ones. The first pair still looks almost good as new, but the flannel lining is worn through in places. The only reason for four stars is the leather laces kept coming untied, so I found some clear glue and fixed the problem. That is the first thing I did to the new pair.

They're great! I love mine because they are not too hot (my feet are usually warm). So I don't want all the fur that my wife wants. But these have great soles. The only gripe is that they don't make half-sizes. The size abovemy heel slipped. The size below, they fit snug and I'm hoping they stretch a little more.

Love the quality of the slippers just wish they were offered in wider widths

Fit as expected, look as pictured, but the suede, although nice doesn't seem as nice as the quality of previous years. Suede was stiff, seems like a cheaper quality item than years past. Nice but not their best.

This my 5th pair over the last 20 years. Very comfortable, very durable. Perform as expected.

I like them that is why I got 2 pair. NOW MY ONLY PROBLEM IS THEY WILL NOT STAY TIED SO I IMPROVISED I TIED A BIG KNOT AND PLACED THE EXTRA TAILS UNDER THE EDGES . WORKS FOR ME . ONLY A 4 RATEING BECAUSE I CAN'T DO A 4.5

My second pair. Very comfortable slippers for a fair price for the quality. Just wish the soles were a more durable material.

Excellent value, but run narrow across the toes and ball of the foot, especially with socks on. Not too different than lots of shoes---I've never understood this as it's clearly not the shape of human feet! You will need to break them in so they stretch out a bit. Try saddle soap or better yet mink oil to hasten the stretch. Your local show repair person can also stretch them.

This is a good slipper, lined in flannel - perfect when you don't want the fuzzy lining that most slippers have. They're warmer than I'd like, but supports my foot well.

Love them due to long lasting and comfort. BUT. You must do something with the rawhide laces! They don't stay tied and it's a good bet a tripping hazard! He finally hot glued them tied. Looks horrible but at least he's still alive.

Obvious quality material and "old school" craftsmanship, right out of the box. They are still stiff after a week but get more comfortable each wearing.

These are wonderful leather slippers. This is the first time my son had the flannel-lined style. In the past there was also the choice of fleece lined, which is his favorite. He wears these a lot, hopefully this pair will hold up a bit better than the last pair.

Very good quality, nice looking, comfortable. But wish they came in half sizes. Going up an extra 1/2 size (typically take 9 1/2, had to purchase a to a 10) because they only come in whole sizes, makes them a little loose. But they are keepers, just need to wear socks with them instead of barefoot.

Great product, well made and exactly what he was looking for. However even going a half size up, the slipper fit me (9.5 Women's) not his 9.5 Men's. So size up if purchasing!

bought these for my hubby. We both love how well made they are and the hubby says they're very comfortable with a good fit. I'd highly recommend them
