Great moccasins, just a touch wide heel and ankle area without socks.

Very stiff and snug when received. I hope they soften and stretch.

Out of the box, the slippers felt slightly small. I put shoe trees in them to stretch width a little and that has helped a lot. I think you have to patiently break them in and they will stretch to fit.

Well made and good looking, I would have given it five stars, except it's a little narrow for a medium (D).

I am retired and wear slippers about 90% of the time these days and I bought these to wear in the summer VS the moosehide shearling lined ones I wear in the winter. I normally wear a 9 1/2 wide shoe so I ordered size 10. As stated in some of the reviews I read these are narrow but while they are a bit snug on me they have stretched a bit and I anticipate they will be fine in the long run. I was considering the double sole slippers but was unsure how well they would do on rainy days when taking the dog out. These have the rubber sole and have proven fine outdoors. I should mention that the laces in these are tied a bit differently than my winter moosehide slippers. If you own a pair of those you certainly know they come untied frequently. These on the other had have remained tied for the approximately 6 weeks I have owned them which has been a pleasant surprise.

These do not come in half sizes unfortunately. The size 10 was too big so I went with the size 9, which I am hoping will stretch out a bit with wear because they are a tad tight right now. I have family who have these and they really like them. They are seriously well made. Crossing fingers!

These are really nice slippers that I purchased for my elderly Dad. He loved them. BUT... the crepe sole is very "sticky". With his shuffling gait and his walker, they keep his feet from sliding along to the next step. He requires this bit of slide. For anyone else, these would be an excellent choice.

Beautifully made slippers, but a little tight. It would have been helpful to have a wider size. Hopefully they will stretch a bit with use.

These are an excellent moccasin/slipper. I like the flannel lining because the shearling linings are too hot for my feet. The rubber outsole is good for the occasional trip outside with moisture on the ground. The fit and finish on these isn't quite as good as the last pair I had, but it is certainly acceptable and the moccasin will form nicely to your foot over time. I trust LL Bean to carry good products and this is one of them.

These are very nice slippers, with a flexible sole. They are warm. If your feet tend to be hot, consider an unlined version.

I previously had two successive pairs of these fleece lined. Unfortunately, they are no longer available with fleece lining. Otherwise, they are comfortable and last well to everyday wear.

The flannel-lined version of this slipper (replacing the fleece-lined version) seems to be a bit smaller (in the equivalent size). I like the sole -- my previous slippers had worn completely smooth on the bottom, which was beginning to be a slipping hazard. The flannel lining tends to pull my socks down into my slipper, which was never a problem with the fleece lining.

Soft, with a great color. A great value for a house slipper that looks good and is very comfortable.

I am an EE, but the construction of this shoe in the ball area is such that it will be stretched by a combination of wearing and shoe stretcher tool. Of course I wish I could have had an EE, but this is OK. The sole padding is just special, and the appearance is splendid.
I'd also recommend:
These are now my favorite, for sure.

Great, but bottoms are thin and will not last. Need thick rubber and these are thin. Most comfortable slipper ever though. Thin flannel inside, but ok.

I ordered the slippers in Acorn. The first thing I noticed was that the slippers were considerably darker than the pictures. I thought I was sent the wrong slippers but the box said Acorn. My initial reaction was that the slippers felt more like shoes than slippers. They were quite snug and stiff and certainly not what I was hoping for. I decided to persevere for a few days and, sure enough, they loosened up around my feet and have started to be less stiff. I strongly suspect that they will be fine in another week or two. They are clearly well made and I really like the smooth sole. I plan to keep them and believe they will eventually be a very fine slipper.

These are excellent slippers. I had a fleece lined pair for years that eventually began to fall apart and since fleece lining is no longer available I now on my second flannel lined pair and even though they are great also the lining does not seem to be as sturdy as had been the fleece.

The slippers are well-made and look very nice. The only problem I have is that they seem to be a bit narrow. I prefer a wide shoe and these only come in a medium width. They seem to be tight but they will loosen up I hope.

Laces come apart/untied frequently. Better tanning would help or just get rid of them.

Excellant comfortable slipper to wear around the house! Conforms to your feet in a few days. The non slip soles are great. I almost forget I have them on and would start to walk outside with them on my feet. The inside of the slipper could use a bit more fannel lining for comfort.
