Wonderful slippers that hold the shape. Only problem is with the laces that keep coming untied

Every detail of these men's slipper is great, save for one. The leather is top-quality, the sewn seams are well done. The thin synthetic outsole is an excellent feature, with just enough texture so as to offer secure, non-slippery footing on smooth and/or wet surfaces, without being so thick as to be shoe-like. The insole is comfortably thick and the flannel lining is very comfortable, warm and soft but not hot. However, the negative aspect for me is the width, which could be measured in negative numbers. Purportedly a D width, these slippers are very, very narrow. So much so, I'm not sure they were modeled on a human foot. :) They are not even close to a D width. If you have a narrow foot, you will love these slippers. If you wear a medium (D) width, you will spend a couple of weeks stretching them to fit your foot, then they will be comfortable. If you have a wide foot, steer clear.

Very narrow. Lengthwas correct but unless you have very narrow feet these won't work. Sent them back with no issue and ordered something else

Acorn color is now darker brown? Prior pair was a nice golden hue, like the acorns in my yard

I love my new house shoes. At first they were a little tight across the top of my end step but they are feeling better the more I wear them.

Nice house shoes. Have good support and are warm. Only negative is they're just a tad wide.

This is my fourth (or maybe fifth pair) of these, though in the past I've purchased the women's version because they fit my narrow foot even better. If not for one flaw I'd give these 5 stars. The flow is the buckskin laces, which never stay tied and present such a tripping hazard I usually end up cutting the laces off short. And yes, I know there's a video that shows viewers how to tie a know that prevents the laces from coming undone, but the video isn't all that easy too follow. I'll try watching it one more time to see if I can figure it out. But it's just easier to take out the scissors and snip the laces at a safe length. Otherwise, you can tell I love these if I keep buying them.

I've had multiple pairs of these Bean slippers. The comfort and durability of the exterior of the slipper is great, and sturdy enough for months of wear, even getting outside occasionally if needed. Bean has however not yet addressed the issue of the flannel lining of these slippers which starts degrading within a couple of months and self destructs after about a year, requiring the purchase of a new pair. Multiple customers have raised this issue over the years. I'll keep buying them hoping Bean will improve the lining material.

I'm really not a slipper guy, but decided I wanted a pair for roaming around the cold house in the wee hours, or popping outside quickly to get the mail or take out the trash. These would have been great for those things; however, they are too narrow. If you wear any kind of wider shoe, you can mark these off your list.

Order size up! The person I purchased these for, wanted to be able to slide in and out with ease. However, we needed to return and order a size larger for this to work. We also wish they had a wide option.

Both my husband and I have had these slippers since 2016, and we loved them. They looked pretty beat up with the liner worn away and the sole coming "unsewn" from the upper leather (after 6 years of course). I ordered him another pair to replace the old ones this year. Beautiful and comfy. I'm sure they'll last another 6 years of constant use!

The lining makes the slipper a bit tight . The sole and construction are great. I would have preferred a slipper that is unlined , but could not find one .

This is my 7th pair. The exterior is GREAT. The flannel interior is garbage that falls apart after about a year. Make the interior leather leather and you get 5 stars all day long.

My husband says these are a perfect pair of slippers! He would have rated them five stars but the leather laces won't stay tied.

I am concerned that the ties on these slippers will become untied constantly, as happened on similar slippers in the past. However, I purchased these slippers because the Venetian model that I purchased at the Mansfield, MA, store a few years ago are coming apart at the heel. The stitching is unraveling. I hope these new ones hold up.

I wear a standard size 10 and was planning to return for a wider shoe. Apparently these only come in one width. Choice is either to return or try to break them in.

I get his shoes with the wide width. You don't carry slippers with wide width. Slippers should be comfy and not have to be stretched out for comfort. Maybe produce a wide width slipper.

Having worn these for a week now, I wanted to provide some feedback. These are very nice slippers! I would also add that the flannel lining makes these very warm -- almost too warm for me, and I end up slipping them off whenever I'm settled and not walking around the house. We'll see how they are once the temps here drop. As for fit, they do seem to run a tad small, but the next larger size would be way too big. All in all, I really like these.
