The shoes look GREAT! And, the size is perfect! I have only warn them around the house in order to try to break them in before a long walk. I'll know better about the fit and comfort in a couple of months after I have broken them in... and, I think it's going to be a chore to break these in... but after that, they should work as expected.

This second generation of trail shoes are still as great as the first model which is at least 5 years old. It is waterproof and comfortable, true to size (L and W), and footbed is comfortable. I would recommend to anyone.

They look great and fit great. What's not to like?

Comfortable, easy wearing, solid. Can't ask for too much more. Bought them on a Wednesday, gave myself eight days to break them in, and then it was off for a weekend at Virginia International Raceway for the MotoAmerica Superbike races. The shoes were absolutely comfortable for the weekend.

I am very pleased with my Trail Model Hiker 4's.! They are super comfortable, fit great, and look really good! Lots of people ask me what brand they are because they look so nice. My feet and legs are much happier since I started walking in these shoes!

I am 13 wide and have worn this model hiker for many years. They are comfortable and give a sure grip on the trail.

This has always been a very reliable shoe for my hikes on Mt. Desert Island. It is sturdy and supportivewith excellent traction.

This is my third pair of these shoes. I've never had a better fitting shoe right out of the box. I hope this model is around for years to come.

This is second pair I've purchased. I've worn the first pair almost daily for over 5 years and only recently have they begun to show significant wear. These shoes are very well made, comfortable and good looking so are pretty much perfect. Highly recommended.

I wear these boots every day. Walk miles every day and they keep my feet feeling great. I have not found another brand that performs as well.

Great shoe. I bought a second pair to keep for future use. LL Bean likes to discontinue some of my favorite things. The first pair are still in excellent condition after many miles. Probably the best hikers I have owned.

Love this hiker. Offers great heal support and a very comfortable fit. Wore it for a five mile hike and the tread gives you good traction on wet surfaces and more rocky terrain. Material feels durable. This shoe will last a long time with normal use.

I wear them daily. They fit well and are comfortable.

I wore out the heels / sole tread of my previous pair after heavy use (uppers were still intact and in excellent shape). Ordered this new pair in late fall 2021 and finally received in March 2022. LLB was no doubt dealing with many supply chain issues but communicated all revisions to expected date of delivery as well as could possibly be expected. I am very happy with this new pair. They were comfortable out of the box and no quality issues to report as of this time (p.s. I do not use these with heavyweight socks ... only medium weight or lighter hiking socks eg. Cresta socks fwiw).
