we bought this for a trip to NH and since we were driving from NC, we needed all the room in the car we could get and a hard cooler just wasnt in the cards. SO happy we bought this!! It was great at the campsite, kept things super cool and when the ice melted, the water stayed cold for a LONG time. The bag did not leak. I was a little hesitant that the bag was white and we were going to be camping. Turns out there is a coating that makes the bag super wipe-able. The camping grime came right off with a wet paper towel!! Highly recommend this bag. It is definitely our go to cooler now!

I have been hemming and hawing about purchasing one of these coolers. Wasn't sure if it was too big, would it really keep my things cold, on and on. I finally purchased one last month. It is one of my best purchases from LLBean. I was at the beach for 12 hours in 90 degree weather, when I came home I still had solid ice in the cooler. The flex sides makes it easy to fill, it hold a lot, but the canvass not only makes it light, but easy to carry. Definitely made to last in he true LLBean fashion. I highly recommend this cooler to everyone! You will not regret purchasing it.

This bag is top quality. Purchased this when our old cooler bag started leaking. This bags liner feels thick and doesn't leak. Recently used on a long car ride to the beach. Very happy with our purchase.

I have had L.L. Bean Totes for nearly 40 years, but this is my first insulated tote. It is the perfect size for a picnic. I use mine to takes snacks when I go to wineries. It looks nice and keeps keeps food cold.

I am very happy with this tote. The size is great for filling with frozen items from shopping. I live in a hot climate and always use insulated bags. It is sturdy and durable.

This is a gorgeous tote. Well made. It will be the last insulated carry all I will ever need. Only problem is, it will be to heavy for me to carry on the path to the Beach. It will work well for tailgating. I recommend the middle size version unless you have a companion willing to lug it for you. I will make use of this wonderful looking and useful product. I am an LLBean Bag lady. You can't go wrong if you read the product description with the measurements and weight first.

This bag is strong and large. It holds so many items and I don't worry about it breaking. The inside can also be disinfected easily. Love it!

I use my large insulated tote every single week. It fits behind the seat of my older pickup truck and I use it to hold dairy and frozen items when I go grocery shopping. It works perfectly, even if not zipped, doesn't take up a lot of space, and Is a really useful item at a reasonable price.

I bought the cooler for weekly outdoor concerts. We usually bring a salad and the bowl we use fits perfectly in the large size tote. Just used it to haul the Christmas food. It is easy to fill and easy to carry. I'm quite happy with the tote.

I have purchased this to keep my food items cold while at work. I monogrammed mine and I love the canvas exterior, it is very easy to clean; it is insulated inside entirely, which is sometimes hard to find in a size like this. I had to exchange it, because it had an interesting odor 7 days after purchase. Customer service was eager to get me another without hassle. I love L.L. Bean products!!

Purchased the large insulated bag but returned it for a medium as I thought the large when loaded would be too heavy. Took bag to beach with sandwiches and fruit for 10 people. Things stayed cold and bag was very handy. It allowed space for sandwiches and fruit rather than putting them in cooler with drinks and melting ice. No more soggy sandwiches. Quality construction.

Extremely high quality tote that does what it is supposed to do. Lighter than a hard cooler yet keeps frozen items frozen and milk and other perishables cold for long trips home from the grocery store. Also a great easy to carry cooler for picnics and other outings.

This cooler will hold your ice just as long or longer than any other big name coolers!

Finally decided to splurge, and got this insulated tote (large) as well as the Boat & Tote (large). How have I lived without these bags for so long? I have 3 little boys, and this is a perfect size for when we take family picnics somewhere. Room for sandwiches, chips, cookies, and drinks for everyone. I've also started using the two bags when I do my grocery shopping. I can fit all my cold stuff in this bag, and it stays cold for the drive home--so much better than a regular reusable shopping bag! Love it. I'm now considering getting the medium as well, for regular park trips that just need drinks and snacks for the kids, instead of a full meal for 5. Would definitely recommend.
