I bought these after buying the FliLyte 4s. The Phantom 2s are a great complement. 5mm drop is not that different than the standard 10mm drops so it's a great transition shoe. I love the cushioning, too. It's not soft and springy- it's firm and feels great even after 10 miles. It's also very supportive- I think I can probably take these off-road. The toe rocker took a couple miles to get used to. Demo this shoe!

Great shoe. Bought them for my teen. He hasn’t used them yet but loved the fit right away.

Love the underfoot cushioning on the Phantom 2- have been recovering from plantar fasciitis & the high stack & cushioning really help. For the next iteration of the Phantom would like to see a bit lighter shoe overall & a more breathable upper material. Would also like to see a variation of the Phantom as a trail shoe.

I mostly use them for walking and teaching exercise classes. It is mostly what I wear all the time because of a foot condition.

I really like the way these fit my feet. There is plenty of room for my toes, but my feet don't wiggle inside the shoes. The tongue stays in place and is padded, so I don't get any impingement on my instep. Tightening and tying them is easy and quick. I had to replace the insoles with something with more arch support. This is my second pair, and I have been alternating between this shoe and one that's zero-drop. It took me a little while to get use to the height. In winter, it's been possible use thicker socks without feeling too crowded. If I had any complaint, it would just be that it's annoying to have to look elsewhere for arch support insoles - some fit weirdly and I only can tell by trying.

I walk quite a bit and this is my third pair. Don't change anything about this shoe! It's comfortable and breaks in perfectly! Also great for my wide feet.

Love the roomy toe bed. Perfect after I had an ingrown toenail. These are my go to shoes now. Whether traveling, doing a 5k, or playing tennis with my kids, they feel great! They do feel too snug in the heel at times, but I still want more styles. Something to wear around the house or at the beach would be welcomed. I am definitely a fan.

The shoe allows your feet and toes to spread out in the toe box and move naturally, is what I like about them the most, very comfortable shoes, also they have a secure heel that snugs nice.
I'd also recommend:

Best shoes ever for my wide forefoot & narrow heal! I had to go up a 1/2 size with Topo from my normal running shoes. I love the support & cushion in these Phantom 2. Got the mens shoe to give me a little more room in the forefoot. My toes are so happy to have that nature sprawl.

I run the easier but longer runs with Phantom. Together with Zephyr, which I wear for shorter, (up to 10 miles) harder rund or races. Phantom feels more comfortable but allows a good speed too. I feel good with US 11.0 (to compare with Hoka US 11.5, I need).

After running with ASICS, Adidas's ultra boots and On-running, my search is over. Topo Phantom 2 were made for me.

These shoes are ideal for my ultras and my training . It's a combination between Atra and Hoka, keeping only the best features. They are light for their category and very durable. The only thing I believe that maybe needs some improvement is the insole. Specific shoes with a thicker insole would be just perfect. In any case I highly recommend Phantom 2!!

Great shoe different from the other pair of ULTRAFLY 3 I purchased first So far TOPO shoes have saved my running career cause my FLAT FEET are difficult to accommodate Some shoes make my knees hurt some my arch Your shoes have so far proven to be the exception My FEET thank you

Unfreaking believable. I can literally run twice as many miles in these and be one quarter as sore in my legs, compared to the shoes I was using before. They feel totally natural in every place around my foot and in the way they interact with my stride. It's somehow like running on marshmallow clouds except they aren't overly spongy and energy-sapping like other shoes out there that are super cushion-y. They feel so good and "normal" that it's a mindblowing-ly singular experience to run in them. I hope this model continues literally 100% unchanged for the next 5 decades so I can just keep buying them.

I use my Topos for road running. I have a flat foot that is also wider than average. These shoes are great for accommodating my feet. I would compare them to an Altra.

These were fit and recommended for everyday wear after bi-lat knee replacements and fasciaitis. Ive purchased 3 pair, just got 2 friends and my mom to use them and have my eyes on the mountain racer. Fit my narrow heel and medium forefoot perfectly. No tired feet at the end of the day!

I use my Topos for road and trail running. I like the support of the insoles. they fit the contour of my feet nicely. The lasing system works great. my heel and mid foot do not move in the shoe when running. The two loops on the side of the Toung instead of one in the middle is a really, really great feature. The Toung stays put. This really makes a difference. I also like the minimal drop. It makes for a nice easy midfoot landing. The cushioning is also very nice. they are nice and stable. And I really like the amount of rocker in the front of the shoes. Your toes peel up off the ground so comfortably when finishing your stride. I am very happy with everything about these shoes. They show that a lot of thought attention went into designing them. For me they got it just right!

I am 6' 180 pounds and these shoes are amazing for walking. Awesome midsole/outsole, Soft (but not overly soft), yet bouncy and durable, they're great for long walks at a fast pace! And they protect the knees.

I have EE moderate volume feet, and I normally can't wear standard width running shoes at all. These are juuuuuuust roomy enough for me to fit because of the design of the forefoot and toe box. The shoes themselves are a great running shoe. Love the sole's transition, plenty of cushion without feeling mushy. Quality construction otherwise and great shape for the uppers. No hotspots. I could still use a wide version, please, but these are great for all but the widest feet.
