I bought these for an upcoming London trip (for wet city-walking). I normally wear an 8.5 in shoes, but for this style I bought 3 pairs just to make sure I got the right fit: 8.5 normal, 8.5 wide, and 9 normal. The 9 felt a bit too roomy. The 8.5 normal felt pretty good but I ended up going with the 8.5 wide just to make sure I wasn't totally squishing my toebox (as I have a slight bunion on my left foot). I'm glad I got the 8.5 wide because that should also accommodate slightly thicker socks in the cooler weather. The shoes are great for walking (even on cobblestone) and worked well with skinny jeans. The only issue I had with them was that I stupidly wore low-cut socks with them...and so on my right ankle, I ended up with a few sores because of the friction between the shoe and my skin. SO, just be sure to wear crewcut socks with these and I'm sure you'll be fine.

Purchased this SAME boot two years ago, and have worn them out. I came back to find YEAH! They are still available. They wear like iron, look great with jeans or dresses and tights in the winter, and BONUS....they are WATERPROOF. Yes, really and truly. Get a pair of these today, you will not regret the purchase.

I live in Seattle and wear ankle boots 9 months out of the year so I decided to invest in these. I also commute by bus and walk through some kind of icky areas to get to the office. I've been wearing these for two weeks and so far they are 1000 times better than the tennis shoes I was wearing over the summer. I haven't had a chance too test of they are truly waterproof yet but they have better fit and better support than tennis shoes. It's hard to find wide shoes that don't look too dated. These are just kind of minimalist and go with everything. Would definitely recommend!

Ordered these in a wide width as my Asiacs are much more comfortable in a wider width. Planning to wear them on a Trip requiring a lot of walking but not hiking. These are perfect and I have room for a little heavier sock. I bought two pairs in two different brands. Although I preferred the style in the other brand, these were by far more comfortable, possibly because of the wider width.

These ankle boots are cute and practical. They are wide enough after I've worn them for a week. The material is very nice, but scuffs and dirt do show up on them.

I ordered these booties because they are very similar in style to the Clarkes I've had for a few years. The difference is that these are leather (or simili-leather) and the Clarkes are microfiber. The sole and heel is very comfortable and great for walking/standing all day (I'm a teacher). The difference is that this Aravon pair is a little stiffer as it's brand new and I haven't broken it in yet. Surely the booties will stretch a little with regular wear, but I can only contribute what I notice right now. I tried them on in the morning when feet are not swollen from summer heat to make sure the booties will fit like they will in colder weather (I live in MN). They seem just a little snug, but as mentioned before, I'm fairly sure they will loosen up with wear. Great product, great quality!

I needed a basic flat boot to wear with casual clothes. These are nice boots. Comfortable right out of the box. I'm usually and 8.5 C, but these were only available in the D so I went for it. I like the extra room for a thicker sock. I have a high instep and although a little tight getting on, they're fine and don't rub anywhere. They're nice for a plain black boot for winter. The top of the boot was narrow enough for my jeans to go over top and will go with leggings. It would be nice to have a little style detail (the "waterproof" tag doesn't really add anything to the boot).

Very comfortable boots. They accommodate my orthotics. I usually wear a size 5.5 W or 6. I am new to using orthotics and am trying various boots. The 6 W fit well, and looks good. The warm iron color looks like a brownish gray on the computer screen, but turns out to be more brown than gray in actuality. The color looks great with denim, but does not work with my wardrobe for the trip I am seeking boots for.

Love everything about this boot. It's comfortable, warm and waterproof without sacrificing style - elegant, not clunky. Wedge heel is just the right height.

My favorite shoes until I wore them out after about 3 years. I border on medium or wide, and the wide width in these was perfect. That can be hard to find. I love that they’re waterproof, perfect combination of protection and style for going to the office on rainy days.

I have worn these boots through three New Hampshire winters, nearly everyday. They're still like-new and completely waterproof. Love these boots!

I usually wear 6W, and that's what I ordered. I was a little worried they might be too big when I tried them on, but they're perfect with thicker socks. They look great, and there haven't been any issues with water getting in.

Best boots ever. Comfortable, good arch support, great-looking, waterproof and warm. Today I walked 5 miles in them through a snowy Boston suburb.

I was looking for a boot I could slip on to walk my dog first thing in the morning. These slip on easily and I’ve even walked my dog without zipping them up. The boots are stylish, comfortable and fit well right out of the box. I wear an 8 1/2 medium and these fit perfectly.

I purchased this item because it was stylish and waterproof. It is roomy enough to wear socks with them. Super comfortable and feel like I can walk all day with them on. I wish Aravon made more footwear styles as they are a great fit.

Fit great right out of the box. I'm also pleased with the traction on snow/ice, which was one of my major concerns. And they look stylish, too.

These are my new favorite shoes. The first day I wore them to work, I brought a second pair of shoes along, figuring I'd need to change out of them partway through the day as these Aravons were brand-new and I assumed they'd need breaking in. NOPE! They were incredibly comfortable from day one. You can dress them up or down, and, best of all, no soggy feet!

Fit perfectly. Just what I wanted.
