Love the look of the shoe but the front is cut low and cuts across the toe area so if anyone has problems in that area, I would not recommend them it's not worth the pain.

Comfortable but a little high on the ankle.

I was looking for a black flat that would give me some support, especially in my heel. These definitely provide that! I came home from work and not only were my feet not sore, but they felt better than they have in awhile! The back of the shoe does rub, but I'm hoping with wear it'll break them in.

I have hard to fit feet and typically, comfort issues. I've got a normal width forefoot and narrow heel, so a lot of shoes fit up front, but slip in the heel. These fit well in both areas and have a nicely padded sole that's removable, so I can also use my orthotics if I choose to. I bought a narrow width size. This is my second pair of Aravon brand shoes. The style is a little plain, but comfort wins out this time since I'm taking them traveling, where I'll be doing a bunch of walking.

No arch support. I tried taking the insole out and replacing it with an orthotic, but the standard insole is so thick (nice and cushy if you don't need arch support), that the fit was weird without. Great Zappos service, as always, but these are going back.

I find this shoe very comfortable and supportive and am buying more. I have a number of ligament and tendon problems in my foot and ankle due to an injury and have had difficulty finding a comfortable shoe to wear other than an athletic shoe. My foot does not hurt in this shoe, and I can walk for long periods of time wearing them. The shoe is quite stylish and more feminine than most Mary Jane type shoes because of the detail work in the leather and nice contrast between the nubuck and the leather. The cut of the shoe is also flattering to larger feet.

Pros: Very comfortable, made my 12N feet look small, quality seemed good, love the decorative details. Cons: The way they are cut at the toe area & the shape of the toe box makes them look matronly. I’ll be ready for that look in about a decade from now. I sent them back because I couldn’t figure out what pants to wear with them. Probably would be a great shoe for restaurant or hair salon workers. Great shoes if you are on your feet all day and wear really long black flared pants, or something. They were on sale, so I tried them.

I really wanted to love this shoe as a replacement for my beloved Revshow. But, not wide enough in the toe box.

The size ran a bit tight. Generally I wear an 8 and this 8 was too snug in the show box area.. Materials seemed fine/

I replaced an old pair of Aravon Dolly with a new pair. When I put the new shoes on the strap would not close and they felt like they were not deep enough for the insert, which was a thick and supportive insert, and my foot . I removed the insert and put my orthotics in with a thin insert and they fit better and I was able to close the strap enough for it to stay on my foot. I would recommend that Aravon make the strap longer and the shoe deeper for the larger shoe size. I wear an 11N and the top of my foot must be higher than most. I'm keeping them because there are not a lot of choices in my size.

I did not like the leather because it was too hard. It was not comfortable. The arch was poor.

The shoe is at an angle that your foot slides down and crushes your toes. It is too bad. They are a cute style!!

Leather too hard.

They were cute looking, but my big toe was touching the tip of the shoe. The shoe feels way too machine made. The soles and top all feel like a kind of plastic. The 6/w wide was too short. The arch support is minimal but I have my own orthodics. I might have kept them if the toe did not hurt. For the cost, I expected more quality. I did not like them enough to order a different size.

I usually wear an 8 but had to order 7.5 which fit but didn't feel as supportive as a Naot so I am returning this shoe. I'm looking for a really supportive walking shoe for a trip to Italy. Returned and ordered Naot Tone instead

I didn't like the shoe it seemed rock hard, no give or flex. The leather was too stiff to walk in let alone flex.

It might be a good shoe if it was available in half sizes above 10. Why do shoe manufacturers stop making half sizes at 9.5? Anyway, these are going back too. Not really fond of the strap across my foot & the insert in the shoe really doesn't feel all that "cushiony" either. I think I'm going to try Dansko next. Sigh. The search continues.

Cute, but it runs about a size large. Going back a second time in hopes I can get a pair in which my heel doesn't slip. Maybe a bit less 'cute' than similar from Naot, but they are very, very comfortable.

Styling and toe box were wonderful. Unfortunately the back of the shoe was so high that it rubbed my heel and both sides of my ankle. Glad I can easily return it.

I should have believed the other reviewer. The soles appear to be hard molded plastic (or similar) - super slippery. I tried them around my house and they were slippery on all surfaces - wood, carpet, tile, linoleum. I felt like my feet could go out from under me at any time. Had to send them back.

The style and materials were good. The fit was not good - felt too wide and the removable arch support was uncomfortable. The shoes were extremely heavy - possibly due to the rubber soles.

I liked the way these shoes looked but the strap is too short, when you try to tighten them the velcro shows, these shoes need a longer strap. The heel is too wide if you wear size narrow. The soles are very slippery and I would be afraid of slipping on a waxed floor, like they have at my local mall. They are going back.

These are nice shoes and comfortable to walk in, however I have a high instep, and the strap is not long enough to accommodate that. it's a velcro closure, and the part on the strap just overlaps the one on the main shoe by about 1/4 of an inch.
